Before they teed off in final round Jacklin said to Lee..."no offence but I won't be talking when we play"..hell Tony Trevino replied...you ain't got to talk...you just have to listen!Laugh

Not sure why we have to watch players getting out of cars! Does that help you to pick the winner? All of my bets are top 5 finish.
Fleetwood, Rose, McIlroy, Thomas and Spieth.

I loved Trevino as well, and still do.
Apparently at one subsequent event where they were matched together, before the round Tony said to him something along the lines of "Lee, I don't want to talk today if you don't mind" and quick as a flash Trevino retorted "Well  that's alright Tony, I just want you to listen"!  Laugh
A journalist pal of mine recounted a story about Trevino which he swears is true.
In the early days of Gleneagles they were trying to get it off the ground with as much p.r., exposure as possible and they asked Trevino to come along to an event and said, as a sweetener - "bring your family and stay for a while"!  Trevino turned up with up
to thirty close relatives and held them to it.!
He once held the Canadian, U.S. and British Open titles simultaneously.  He was some machine.

Finally, how good is this Morikawa?  He must have missed ten puts on Saturday which could just as easily gone in.  He just can't bank on his putter!

All change Sunday - Mori putted beautifully.  What a performance.  His tee to green stats ( throughout ) have to be very special!  Is that two majors now at first pop?

OK m8 will do might be a bit more bullish
If the weather is the same next year the we are probably looking -20+ as last 2 winners were -15 & -16 From this week you have to take Collin but think that if Rahm had been that much luckier with the putting wand he would have won , always keep MacIntyre onside because he's a links specialist, and if he hadn't gone 3 off the tee then would have been right up there so defo e/w top 10 bet at a stupid price given his open record and Speeth will be knocking on the door again. Final one I'll be keeping an eye on from this year is Viktor Hovland
