Get them to send debit card to your local branch, where you can collect with ID. Probably Rhino with the 50AUD scam

This bank has only a few branches outside Dublin, and I move to Co Tipperary.
I think I will just come on here and moan for a bit. ![]() Good news is I sold my Dublin house this morning (accepted an offer). |

I agree with Hank Hill that Berger might contend.
If I had funds he would have been added to my bets. I looked the field and liked Zalatoris; Berger; Casey; Fitzpatrick; Reed; Cantlay based on past Open form, 2021 form, and price. |

Van Rooyen, ew first round leader, ew outright and single on top 20....

Last 2 winners here were big prices, Clarke and Curtis. Could be the nuisances of the fairways, seen a pic of the 2nd yesterday from the air, fairway looked like a rough sea, even a straight drive not guaranteed to stay in the short stuff.

Koepka was interesting at his press conference - hasn't touched a club since the Travelers and hates Royal St Georges.

Yeah, read about that in pga tour app yesterday rhino. Have left him out but he's always dangerous in thee big events.

I turned on Sky a few minutes ago and it was showing practice rounds.
One of the fairways looked like ten elephants were buried under the turf. |
|
By:
I remember Clarke's win fairly well, he got so many good bounces that week off all these mounds and bumps. Luck is a factor here, good luck predicting a winner I think.

By:
They replayed Clarke's Open win on Sky.
On one hole he hit an approach iron very low, too low. His ball hit the ground in front of a bunker well short of the green, bounced over it, and I think ran onto the green. |

I don't bet much on the Open now but used to always wait until I had seen the first two days. With pretty decent results.
I well remember the 1972 Open when the great Lee Trevino Jacklin told walking up 17, "I'm through - it's yours Tony", and hacked out of the fairway rough to behind the green in four,............. then chipped and ran it in. Jacklin, nearly on in two, three-putted and took six. Trevino had previously hacked out of three foot high rough and bounced once on the green then scuttled down the pin and into the hole. It did Jacklin in. He never played well again. Trevino made one of the great golf quotes once. Having come up as a caddy and young hustler, he knew a bit about it when he said: :"Pressure? Few people know what it is anyway. Pressure is playing for twenty bucks when you only have five in your back pocket"! |

Asked to bet I would bet nobody and if asked to lay it would be Morikawa. Mori looks like his putting is a bit unreliable. What a shame they have imported Rishi to do the interviews. Doesn't hack it for me. Asks some cringeworthy questions and asks them badly.

Wish there was a few round now like Trevino, great character. Saw 1970 open other day, Bernie Sanders missed a 3 ft putt to win it. Unbelievable scenes, then lost 18 holer vs Nicklaus next day. Mind you, the jumper he was wearing he deserved to lose.

I saw trevino at practice day
back in 1979, he never stopped talking the whole way round the course, must have been an absolute nightmare to play with for some, but a hugely entertaining man to watch. And a genius golfer. |
|
By:
I bet Jacklin thought he got right in his head that day, even though he was just being himself, he loved the game, the players, and the craic.
|
|
By:
I still wonder what monty might have
said to trevino,... On about the 4th hole,... Lol |
