Friday start this week fellas.

Aside from the tourneys with the lesser fields every event since the restart has been won by one of the big boys, Berger would have to be to lowest profile winner and he's having a belter of a season. Given that, anyone see past the top 3 with the head start? Maybe the top 5?

well i have took the polar opposite view on this, this is theoretically the best current 30 players making the market far too top heavy.
so not heavily but i've backed the 15 "outsiders" between lowest 160, highest 870.

15 V 15 - with the inflated odds chance of a good payday and at least a few should compete so keep me entertained...

Betting w/out DJ, Rahm and JT (handicap betting)

Brendan Todd 35/1

Lanto Griffin 95/1

e/way 1/5- 4 places.

Brendan Todd 80/1 -e way 1/5- 5 places (with the handicap betting)

DJ finished 10 over par in this last year -  just sayin' Grin

A do think he is under a lot more pressure than most though, and with even an average start may let a few in straight away....

You know i'd heard about it but not really given it any thought, but after a bit of reading i'm now out, actually green for £9.58 Excited

But what an absolute bag of sh!te tournament this format creates, unless i can be bothered looking at the group betting theres a fair chance i wont even bother watching it.

dunno what bright spark thought "right instead of having a fed ex winner AND a tournament winner lets lump em in together"

i remember it being fun getting scenario's when joe bloggs is leading meaning jeff bloggs will need 3rd to win the fed ex or joe el steal it and win both etc etc....

I am that upset with them i may even suffer thru watching some rom fr!gging coms with the mrs this weekend to spite them CrySadCry

I have done Rahm to win the Fedex.

Big Tone for best 72 hole score for an interest.

Monday night finish not ideal for me in any case, but it is a funny old tournament.  Fedex put the money in  though  and that is why this situation pertains.

It's only the second year they've done it so still early days. I was against it last year but there was no difference, Rory won the tournament and therefore the Fedex and under the old system we'd have had the same result. The problem for me will be what happens when the leader starts by shooting -6 or -7 and the others starting at say -5 and above don't go forwards or back peddle. Will be a drab season finale is DJ leads by 8 after round 1 and waltzes home from there.

ive just seen under the Tour Championship heading there is a72 hole lowest score market ,which is what i want i think ,so theres 3 markets ,Tour Championship ,Tour Championship lowest score ,and Fed Ex Cup .....clear as mud.

Fedex Cup and Tour Championship are now both the same thing, just that the Fedex market is a year long one. Both incorporate the handicap, the one which ignores the handicap is the low 72 hole market.

This would obviously the week Mackenzie overturns a 10 shot deficit to win 15 million dollars, as I wouldn't have touched him at any price.

By:

When: 04 Sep 20 21:34
For rankings points they don't use the handicap x. Which is bollocks as you can start 10 back and shoot the lowest score of the week without ever getting near a win and feeling any hint of pressure and getting a winner's ranking points, but that's what they've gone with.
