Disappointing from the point of view of history being made but keeps the tournament more alive i guess.

anything more DJ than parring the easiest hole for the 59?!

Yeah that round was vintage DJ, brilliant and rubbish at the same time.

Wonder what they do with the course tomorrow. Saturday at most tour stops traditionally they bring out the easy pins and move the tees up for an exciting moving day. Might not be a good idea here unless they want the course humiliated. Easy setup tomorrow and perfect conditions early on could see some more stupid charges on the front side.

what a shame for DJ to miss out on 59
By:

Couldve seen him throw in a DB and miss out,
But 7 pars ffs.

No way.

Clever miss at the last from Rory: get out as early as possible and rip it round in 56.

Sad to see Day struggle again, injury no doubt. Thought he was back.

7/4 got to be too short with 36 to play hasn't it?? yeah it was all exciting with his start yesterday but as far as golf goes scottie's round was more than the one shot better as a full round imo, 12 birdies in ridiculously good...
By:
system99
When: 22 Aug 20 13:37
plus historically it's likely neither will score particularly low today after such rounds

Always questioned this hard to follow a good round theory.
Would be interesting to see if there where any stats to prove it.

Fair play to Wolff, it's not easy to be +3 through the first 5 holes here.

"You don't want the course to soften otherwise it becomes target golf" is quite a quote from Ewen Murray there, as -17 leads after 6 holes of the third round and we come off the back of a 59 and a 60.

Yeah it's a bit late. Since the redesign this place has played much tougher than it used to, copping an absolute hiding this week.

time for dusty's customary stall, few guys with half the course left, 4 under more than doable, at least then theres a match left for tomorrow
By:

When: 22 Aug 20 20:47
Indeed we are. At least the course will be playing a bit easier for them after some rain, been brutal the first 2 1/2 days.
By:
therhino
When: 22 Aug 20 20:52
If the rain helps anyone you'd think DJ. He gets more soft(er) holes than the rest and the length off the tee becomes a bigger advantage.

Here we go again.......only DJ can beat DJ now
