Best player in the world for me. He’s got the lot and has no nerves.

Fair play Brooks, stuck it out well today.
Putting superb under the utmost pressure, some strange mistakes again, just not as many as the rest. Well played Tommy too, immense. |

Some rather large prices matched on Brooks

Played really well under pressure , very impressive from him

Seems like a class act off the field too. He's an athlete too, pure gym rat, good to see the hard work pay off for him.

3 wins on tour, 2 of them majors. He's a young Cabrera.

good to see someone at the top of the leaderboard at the end of round 3 won. would have been a farce if fleetwood had won finishing hours before the leaders and that would have been 2 days in a row someone from miles back took the lead. all for making it really difficult but the USGA got away with one here

if i'm being hyper critical Fleetwood's one of these talented streaky players who's much better suited to coming off the pace and when it counted ,bottled that putt on 18..no way he would've shot that had he been in the final cpl of groups imho..u guys may disagree
Re Koepka,100% genuine guy and u know what he's got that the super hyped, non performing metro little brat hasn't? he CAN putt,he's cool under pressure,he's not smug, not up his own ar se he was +7 at one stage in his 2nd round..deserved winner..respect |

yes of course... in fact even when he won in dubai earlier in the year he wasn't in one of the very last groups if i recall but of course a lot of golfers do much better when they aren't under the pressure of the final group... somebody said that it would be ridiculous if fleetwood had won because he wasn't in that pressure situation... in part I agree with that but it's also an interesting element of golf that you don't really see in other sports, that someone who is seemingly out of it can win. fleetwood though does seem to go from strength to strength backdooring or not... must have a good chance at carnoustie i know he shot some sort of course record there recently. |

maybe the leaders should through away a couple of shots in the 3rd round to ensure not being in the final two?, complete nonsense

A major is not meant to be a putting contest, it should not be about that when it is it skews things towards less talented players
The balance has to be right and it wasn't at the US open |
|
By:
It was anything but a putting contest. Yesterday’s set up was perfect. You had to hit the fairways.
|
|
By:
yeh I agree, they set the course up perfect yesterday for a US open, tough but possible to put a score together

Thought they over compensated yesterday myself, after the farce that was Saturday. Too easy for a final day for me.
