MOLI on the PGA TOUR... First 120 starts: 0 wins / Last 12 starts: 3 wins... + a THREE-YEAR exemption Franco
WELCOME TO ‘MOLI-WOOD’ - for a while we had that feeling again - as close friends and record-breaking Ryder Cup heroes Tommy Fleetwood (T3rd) and Francesco Molinari battled it out on the leaderboard in Bay Hill. The "5-out-of-5" ITALIAN came from 5 back, (moving up 16 places on the day) - OWGR #10, his API record now reads 1st,26th,7th,9th,17th,5th & 34th in 2013. MOLI is London-based (at The Wisley) so the members are a happy bunch again tonite. Franco just signed up with Callaway Golf this week too. What a coup/good timing for Callaway. |

Tiger Woods holds the record for MOST WINS at ONE COURSE – with eight, and at three different locations!!!
![]() Woods has eight wins at Torrey Pines, at Firestone Country Club, and in ‘Arnie’s Place’ at Bay Hill. TIGER'S NEXT STOP.....on the ((((((FLORIDA SWING)))))) Ask him 'if that record would ever be broken' and Woods will be quick to reply (as before) - “It can be beaten. Hopefully next month.”.....Bay Hill continue to be a regular TOUR stop (apart from the odd pain-in-the-neck). “To do eight three times, I am very proud of that,” Woods adds. “It will be a tough one (for others) to beat. But I’d like to be the one to beat it and extend it". For the record Woods also holds the record of eight wins at one event with the WGC-Bridgestone and Arnold Palmer Invitational wins. He won the Farmers seven times and added the US Open at Torrey Pines. Joining him with eight wins in one event is Sam Snead, who won the Greater Greensboro Open, now the Wyndham Championship, eight times over two courses. He won four at Starmount Forest Country Club and four at Sedgefield Country Club. |

First went there 1998 (Els) and 2016 (Day) really great there but if you want to go make sure you get clubhouse passes to make it that little more special and you never know who you will bump into, sadly not the great man though.

Terry, better again stay in the Lodge on Sunday & play Monday (also passes to the AP 'tent' right of the 9th hole are best)
………....although it’s a week early on this ‘new schedule’ (used to be a time when we celebrated Paddy’s Day along with Arnie in Bay Hill). This schedule may become more interesting next year when we see who plays The Honda (HOME Game, just down the street) and God forbid, even the thought of possibly SKIPPING this event, and waiting for the PLAYERS? More of ‘a-pain-in-the-neck’ next year??? (and anyways, it’s not the same without Arnie). |

The local PROS in ORLANDO, FLA. (19 pros in residence some playing a 'HOME GAME' this week)........AND NOT on Orange Blossom Trail btw
![]() Nineteen pros seems like a lot, but consider that in the pre-NetJets era, when Tour pros cared about commercial flights, Orlando was the hub for all things pro golf. Tiger lived here until 2011 but now, the gated communities in the Disney burbs are home to a slightly aging but still talented demo.....think Lake Nona, etc, etc. 12. Henrik Stenson 26. Gary Woodland (not playing) 60. Ian Poulter 63. Charles Howell III 117.
