stronger? tiger was playing some quite good playes and the older guys now were in their prime then, micko. Furyk, Duval for a year, vijay. Tiger didnt have it too easy. The main thing about Tiger is his short game looks better than ever atm which is key for him. He certainly didnt do anything to suggest his price was wrong with todays performance

Looks like Tiger had the worse of the conditions and had a very good round with one blip, and not going to end with too many ahead of him. He's sitting about his starting price and can't see how he should be much bigger.

By:
if stenson shoots another -8 in the morning you might see double figures tiger before he starts his round

Rory is doing you a favor Total Bosman

By:
Bit of a sweat but he always obliges in the end.
|

im not a fan of Stensons price, thats even too low at this stage for me to consider backing..and i dont mind backing low numbers

Courses have changed a lot from 15+ years ago. Put the likes of Day, Stenson, Rory, Rose etc on those old courses and they'd fare pretty well against Furyk, Duval and Vijay for the same reasons Tiger did. Also there is much more strength in depth now and guys are willing to play a more attacking game, so guys are more streaky and winners can come from anywhere.

dont buy the argument that the current crop are better than those tiger faced earlier in his career. Rose and Stenson were around back then.
In my opinion the current crop aren'rt as good as the likes of Phil, Vijay, Duval, els were at the turn of the century. |

By:
not to mention this week is missing Spieth,Dustin,Garcia to name but a few top players. There are not many prolific winnings playing this week and even fewer ahead of Tiger in the betting

Cheers btw, TB

Rory almost goes out of his way to ruin his good rounds.
|

By:
hopefully that first hole will wake Tiger up and get him fired up and concentrating

Tigers got into double figures. Still don't see value in his price. I'll wait and see if his price gets into the high teens/early 20s and take that ew, otherwise I'm happy just to watch.

By:
thats the best way, if you aare not sure or convinced you wont lose money by waiting for a opportunity you are happy with

never would give up on tiger, just my normal tactic is if player isnt within 3 shots going into 3rd round i add another player as backup. ideal worl i enter sunday with 2 players in contention and hopefully both in last group which makes for very enjoyable sunday viewing

Not been watching first 3 days but going to watch final day, anyone got any decent tips in 2 balls for an interest, someone who is playing well but maybe had some unlucky breaks in previous rounds.

im gonna add a small bet on Bryson DeChambeau, i think his price is ok for the position he is in and it looks like he may have had a dodgy round yesterday and he went low on a sunday when he won the John Deere, much rather have him than Stenson at currnt prices
|
|
By:
kicking myself as changed my mind about backing a few on pre touni, Stenson I had as a 16/1 chance was 3 times that.would defo be on as I was 2 years ago when I went to Bay Hill for the 4 days and backed him e/w and he was 3rd to Day. Rose another who plays well here. Woods playing drove up the prices of the others. no bet then to sure to be a great last round

All credit to them, they're sticking a huge beer garden on the back nine of the US Open this year. It's in New York, I wonder how that'll work out |
