Had no idea about any of this. I guess I have the BBC to blame for my inability to find any streaming of the event last night (in China right now). The leaderboards I was following were way behind as well. Anyone know where to find any semblance of early starter coverage for day 2? Or a leaderboard that isn't caught in a time warp? Thanks.

Flashscore was pretty good all day yesterday and it was ahead of most shots on BBC Red Button for most of the day, it has a tendency to freeze but its red birdy/bogey warning will catch your eye if you are doing something else besides.  http://www.flashscore.com/golf/ |

If your using a separate monitor for the scores you can set it to portrait and get down to Westwood with out shrinking the text much, but if you can't swivel your monitor don't blame me for your stiff neck tomorrow

I can't get rid of the Highlights one, but in Advast Browser the rest are not there, Think Chrome normally stops them, but not this time it seems.

IMG deal with the PGA media rights and the word is they wanted to jack up the prices and Sky walked away. Would have thought an agreement could've been reached as there's no way the BBC are paying as much as Sky would have, and Sky should really have paid a bit more to preserve their major monopoly, seems like things are falling apart for them a bit.
There's the usual flannel about the PGA wanting it on free to air to spread the game etc but I'm not sure some grainy red button footage commentated on by a bunch of bored old men is going to substantially grow the game or their brand. |

Exactly. No point going free to air if the coverage is unwatchable. If I had no financial interest I wouldn't have lasted 10 minutes.

I have quite enjoyed the BBC's coverage - Alliss, no adverts or hype, just watching the golf.
However, they said last night you would be able to watch featured groups from 1.30pm online and now I can't find it anywhere. Anyone know the link? |

Eilidh Barbour tweeted it would be available on the website but no sign of it. Which shows they have the rights to the featured groups but just can't be bothered. It's pathetic really.
