Looking forward to the wall to wall coverage. Can't seem to find today's and tomorrow's on the range.Never mind no doubt blanket coverage for the 4 days will be exceptional.

The problem with the red button coverage is the awful picture quality if you are used to watching golf in HD.  Also you can't record it.

2 HRS SUNDAY ON THE BEEB,strip out the adverts and claude dissecting dusty,s bin the 5000th time and 2hrs is equivalent to 7 hrs play on sky, Laugh

This i confidently predict will be an absolute unmitigated disaster....6hrs coverage of final major and on the RED Button.Utter ****g nonsense, why bid at all?
And we will all then understand how good Skys big events are.
Standard tourneys still terrible but that generally down to picking up the US feed, wall to wall ads,and drivel.

So likely no coverage of Matsy,Spiffy,DJ, Live, amongst others day one then??Or do we have any other coverage elsewhere?Or on BBC?

Poor that the bbc don't have it on live on a proper channel although i believe it will only be like this because of the athletics not sure why one can't be on bbc 1 and one on bbc 2

The only advantage of the bbc is events on there often have better liquidity back in the day the bmw pga championship event was one of the biggest events on here for volume of bets but this will probably be negated by the red button cant see many other than the die hards pressing the red button

What's to not like?
No Ewan Murray, no ads, no messages all over the screen about what's on later.
Even the worst BBC coverage is better than the best Sky offers.

bbc coverage is absolutely absymal, back in the dark ages, oh well atleast its only for the PGA and not one of the real majors, this is just a tour event really

report in The Times says that the BBC are using USTV feeds, with none of their own commentators out there. Worst of all worlds? The good news is that they're not guaranteed future coverage rights.

Cringeworthy so far, and we're only 10 minutes in. They'd have been better getting Lineker and Shearer to do the job.

When you have Alliss in Blunderland you know it's not good.

All the commentators of yesteryear, Carpenter,Coleman, O'Sullevan, Walker, Maskell etc knew when to step down. But not him. Sad
