Yeah, more of this weather all weekend, should be fun. Depending on the tee times it might be an advantage to the leaders over the chasers if the wind dies down a bit in the evening.

Since 2013 Stenson has 28 top 10s, 17 top 3 finishes, 2nd 10 times but only 2 wins.
That said he would be the favourite for me going into the weekend |

Matsy's season has gone to absolute sh1te - MC-MC-42nd-MC, and the 42nd was in a no cut event where +9 thru 36.

Difficult to assess the leaders because they haven't had the worst of conditions and will have it tough for the rest of the weekend. Interesting that the two leaders have mostly avoided the driver, looks like both have a solid gameplan for the conditions so possible it could just be between them. Of the chasers Finau is an interesting one, there's no shortage of breeze in Hawaii and when he won in Puerto Rico it was blowing a fair bit.

The early wave didn't have conditions as bad as the afternoon boys but it was pissing it down for most of it just not the wind. Stenson's round was very good today.
The leaders have a huge advantage only 5 players within 6 of the lead one of them Keegan Bradley who has been having a shocking season. If it is windy over the weekend I think Kjledsen has a great chance he was excellent at the Irish Open in the wind last year. |
