Not often you see sat leader go to 200+ in less than an hour!

We need more rowdy crowds like this. Let these pros really earn their money.

This disintegration by JT will go down in history and be replayed for ever

missing that tiddler, jt now knows how rory feels every tournament.
By:
JT might skip Scottsdale going forward.
By:
JT may get away with it as it wasn't day 4 and him blowing a lead.
By:
lol lr - yeah Rory's putting is infuriating most of the time
By:
diddob
But he was in the lead ( joint) and down to 5/2 fav. Where he is now - I'd say he's ' blown it ' for the tournament ! |

Rahmbo on the move

The market overacted to JTs 6 birdies. The meltdown will stick with him forever but it won't be a Norman, DJ, VDV, Speith kinda thing.
By:
b0llocks it will stick with him forever. Will be forgotten as soon as he touches down home.

Fowler birdie - joining the party finally!
By:
thomas has always been kind of up and down. i think last season masked that because it was just sustained brilliance but was capable of some wildly inconsistent form before that. I recall him having a similar meltdown when on course to win his first pga event.
JT is though arguably the most explosive golfer around at the moment. if you can ignore this he remains a hell of a prospect. |

By:
Yeah, and he has almost double the wins of Rickie

is it just me or does jon rahm seem to be engaged in permanent "beast mode" these days.
By:
Impossible to call winner right now

By:
Rickie!!!!!
By:
some fun and games with leader getting wet. This finish would be exciting enough for a sunday - roll on tomorrow
By:
Great stuff from Rickie. Well below standard and -3. Big part of winning is making a score when you don't have your best stuff.
By:
Even though he hasn't achieved what I think he should have I am pleased he has turned the rd around. Some top names up there for tomorrow. Hopefully a great finish and then on to the SB tomorrow - what time is SB on in Aus rhino?

By:
still a rd to go lr - still, if he makes it tomorrow he'll just be 2 back from JT
![]() |
By:
he isn't greedy like JT- he just wins when it matters

Little Rickie HAS to be a lay at current odds 3.60 - 7 of 8 54 hole leaders haven't won, playing with Rahm in final group, proving winners all around him.......
LAY R Fowler @3.60 GL............. |
By:
PROVEN.....
By:
fowler isn't a proven winner?
By:
I have laid him off for a decent wedge @ 3.65. I was kicking myself for not doing so earlier when I had the chance on Friday at better odds. Absolutely made up with his come back yesterday evening that has now given me a second opportunity.

BIG PHIL has not been outside the T50 in the OWGR since November '93, and looks to stay there a good while longer, shooting 70, 65, 66 to be two behind on SUPER BOWL Sunday.
His second round 65 at the Phoenix - Most 65s or better all-time at TPC Scottsdale - Phil Mickelson 12, Calcavecchia 11, Vijay 7. Shoots 66 on Moving Day - Mickelson:- 22nd career round of 66 or better in the Phoenix Open - 3 more than any other player all-time. Can he end the drought and claim his first since 2013 ????? Only 4 (1.1%) of the 375 official PGA Tour events since 2010 have been won by players 47 or older - @47yo Mickelson - 12/1 says the bookies don't think so - even if he's just 2 behind Ricky. |
By:
This will be the 6th 54-hole lead/co-lead of FOWLER's PGA Tour career - He's only won 1 - strong enough posse behind.
