Good chance of a comeback today, guys starting nearer 7 could have a bit of an advantage against guys starting towards 9. Scoring will be rough but someone always gets a good round in, so looking down as far as the -3s or perhaps even further for someone who could post early. At big prices Hoffman and Campbell are two guys out early who have gone well in a bit of wind and have been known to get on a streak so having a little pop, although any of the -3s could be worth a go at big prices.

Mahan just hit it 118yds from the fairway with 168ytds to go.
Early sign of the wind? |
By:
Seeing some weird looking shots early but the play by play info seems a bit dodgy so might just be that. Does look like they're already struggling though.
By:
Could be looking at a -5 winner if it stays like this all day.
Love these type of conditions. |
By:
Yup, all hell breaking loose already and the wind's only going to get worse. Question will be how high the wind can get before they stop, although the forecast is for high winds on Monday as well.
By:
Ollie with the first and possibly last birdie of the day. Might as well declare him the winner.
By:
Get on with it FFS. Not getting much better til Tuesday.
By:
wind looks playable tomorrow on windfinder
By:
if suspension was warranted just now, can't see any way it's not done for the day

Looks like a normal golfing day at Lahinch, County Clare, Ireland.

My comp players are playing for a cheque only at this stage. First nice one for young Paul Dunne on his 1st P.G.A. tour event. Fine performance no matter what happens in this final round.

even if they play on a bit here it's only meant to get worse and ben crane was saying it's meant to blow well bad 2moro morning
so it's moot if they will ever finish this round could be a 54 hole event |
By:
Having played this much they will finish this round, on Tuesday if necessary. No way this is 54 hole.
By:
There playing now ent they?
By:

By:
Yes but no tv , ffs

Scores show real carnage!
If they play all this through tonight somebody who gets to the clubhouse at +2 could win this ![]() |
By:
If Snedeker can get in -4 he might have a squeak here!
By:
Nah Snedeker would end up dropping shots while he is in the clubhouse then
![]() |
By:
Hope he does ccm backed him on PP at 250s
By:
Now -4. Clearly on it today....
By:
Great bet btw Jedi.
By:
Well, he's at -4 now. Tough though it is, I think he might want one or two more, and all depends when they play. But you never know.....
