Not an event for first timers, experience counts round Torrey Pines. Hard to fault Day and Sneds at the top of the market, Sneds course form superb and on a streak, has a habit of converting when on such a run. At odds Bill Haas more than fair at 50s, top 10 last week, good course form and wins on tough courses - Riviera, East Lake, Congressional... Torrey Pines would suit his resume nicely.

Good to see someone else other than me picking Glover this week StoneCold, surprised more tipsters haven't put him up. I think he's a very good shout this week particularly with the wild weather predicted for Sunday, which should suit his ball striking & help negate his putting woes, which is obviously the downside of him.

Agree with all the comments about course form. Team of four for me, and keeping it simple. All have gone well here and shown some form in the past few weeks.

To be honest rhino, I didn't know about that when I backed him. Definitely wouldn't have done at such low prices if I'd have known
![]() But his course form is hard to ignore I suppose. |

You could still get out if you want? Market hasn't bought it that he might struggle.

Done ok with Lingmerth last week. Danny Lee and Patrick Rodgers this week. Good luck everyone .

Gave half my stake bet mate. Happy to let some ride, just because his form here is so good.

Unsurprisingly, Jason's going to "give it a go", but will no doubt spend the next four days whingeing about his touch of man-flu, while winning by ten. A dance as old as time.

Is there a reason why Corals are offering 90/1 on Mickelson, when he's around 20/1 with most other bookies? Seems weird to me.

The rough looks very, very penal this week. Worse than usual. Big premium on hitting the fairways.

Not sure what the weather is tomorrow but judging by the scoring on the South, those playing it today couldn't be complaining.

Definitely mate. Good fast start from Jimmy.

that's where I can't get a grip on this course, driving accuracy, absolutely everything tells you, your straight or your fooked, but every year, mid/low accuracy stats on top 5, last 5 years theres only been two occasions a player with top 10 accuracy stats in the top 5, 2 outa 25!!

Brown playing on the South course can't have been a popular first round leader bet.
|
|
By:
Good start for me with kizzire and loupe and a few others .most of mine played the north course though so wel wait till after second round before getting excited .is Sneds worth a pop now at nearly 50s ?cant sleep weather outside brutal .good luck all

Laid off a bit of Walker to back Sneds again. +1 on the South is hardly a disaster. Must've been some round by Scott Brown!

Lots of short putts being misses today. Walker a chief offender

Michelle Wie shot a 3-over-par 76
Wie said she was waiting on the 16th tee, when she felt a sharp pain. “It hurt really, really bad, and I knew it was a bee,” Tour’s security personnel came out with a tweezers and she used it to pull out the stinger. ![]() |

Tee times brought up tomorrow, 3pm start our time due to bad weather forecast. High winds would make for absolute carnage, although forecast winds are so strong I think they'd be unlikely to play in them.
