Rory confirmed to play, grouped with Spieth and Zach first 2 days. Not a bad recovery, hope it turns out ok for him and doesn't make the injury worse. What do people remember of the course, bombers paradise? Zach went close but I read somewhere that he said it was the best ball striking week of his career. The DJ bunker is no longer in play, been covered by a viewing area for this years edition. Am thinking Chambers Bay might be a decent reference point.
Been a different Jason Day to previous majors where you feel he left shots out there by being too conservative in final round. 4 under through the first 7 broke the back of the chasing pack/set out a marker. Cushion of the lead no doubt helped though.

There was a moment in the RBC for Day. A putt that was make or break. Looked nervous prior to the putt but after making it he had supreme confidence in closing out the win. Since then he's looked a champ through and through. Well done and thoroughly deserved.
