Frames, he is a ****, but where the course is built there were hardly any folk living there. About 3 families who refused to budge.

It was more the green lobby who had an issue. the one's who would have us living in caves without any internet Grin

this is the course, it is magnificent, i have had the pleasure of playing it.

lfc we saw it with our own eyes this morning.

I know this will shock a few but i very much doubt the RA will be taking any notice of what the players are saying. The last thing they will have wanted is too lose a day. Must have cost them a fortune. Not good either that it won't finish at the right time. They may have more problems tomorrow if the rain is as bad as forecast.

The balls were moving.

Why on earth would they make it up? It will lose them a lot of money in tickets being part refunded.

Mighty Whites I would like to see what exactly you saw, I don't`t doubt if you set a ball on a certain part of the green it may roll...but it is likely no shot will land on that part of the green...all you need do is water the greens.

Why do you think play is suspended then if it is that easy?

Well Oosty had a 2 ft putt that has now become a 5-6 ft putt when he returns. Is that movement enough for you?

maybe they are trying to make up for their inconsistent decision for starting play this morning as consolation for those who dropped shots.
By:

Ithink play is suspended because the majority of players can`t play in difficult conditions...there is no problem with the wind moving the ball.

The players dont take the decision the R&A do and this is costing them a fortune.

A lot of the players still due to play would like to get out there and play anyway as they probably just want home.

Water the greens or mark the ball, this is totally ridiculous..you would think people didn`t play over the winter months.

the course was not unplayable, it was playable but the pro's would have struggled to break 80.

therein lies the issue.

If the ball is moving on the greens then it is not playable. It becomes a farce.

The players who are missing the cut would be pissed off if that were the case but they are not.

R&A most important thing this week was to give another old champion his farval with pictures on the bridge. Nevermind the competition. But we have to give team spieth their best opportunity for the grand slam would do great for golf. R&A

Nope or they never would have sent him out this morning when they knew how bad it could be.

The balls are not moving, and if one should do so it is easily solved...put it back.

You give the player and R&A a ring and make that suggestion as they all seem to be in agreement is is unplayable even the ones that will not make the cut and just want out of there.

He played as long as anyone else, in that time we saw one ball move and it would not have mattered if oosti had been quick....no other ball moved in the hundreds of other shots.

Still not any relevance between today and time Tom Watson had on course.

Ball was not moving anything like it was this morning and winds not as strong.

They said late last night before Watson finished that any group could stop for night if they wanted and others play through. Clearly the players didnt think conditions bad enough to stop...today they and R&A both did.

That was utter nonsense - would that have applied if it was windier last night than this morning?  Obviously if it had been windier last night the players would have said "omg I can't see a thing" at the earliest opportunity.  How can a player possibly be allowed to choose whether he plays in better conditions?
