My initial thoughts are why is Tiger playing this tournament and not getting a period of rest during his ongoing treatment for some back problem. Is the appearance money so high or is it to honour the man that is Arnold Palmer. I would have thought that the Masters would be high up in his priority list.

pin position most be tough today, and maybe add fast greens...3 putting paradise
Yeah, very poor scoring today compared to yesterday. Obviously tried to make it a bit tougher today and the greens do seem to be rolling out a lot, although maybe some guys are trying too hard to catch Adam and forcing the issue. It'll be tough for Adam too later, but with no-one breathing down his neck another decent round and he could be away with this.
its all speculating (and maybe some hoping) but if it also firms up it could be brutal afternoon...could be a very good weekend if Scott struggles today
Kinda clutching at straws, but a lot more pressure on Adam than yesterday. Said himself yesterday he had flu and low expectations, now he's got a lead and a strong look at world number one, different story. Surely can't have a putting round quite like yesterday, and the ones he was rattling home yesterday could easily turn into 6 foot par putts today.
So yeah, he might only win by 5.

Easy to forget with yesterdays scoring it is a hard track. Back to normal today. 3 rounds of even par could well be enough for Adam.
It's also pretty hard to back a guy with flu at roughly evens with 3 rounds to play.

all green so added snedeker at 30s and padraic reed at 55s............thinkin one of these will score well.........even thought im on scott from start 3 days is alot of golf...........and far from over

no wonder scoring is difficult, according to leaderboard shot tracker the pin at 6 is in the water
I would say Scott would snap your hand off for a 72 right now.
Scott makes a 13 foot par putt at one. Here we go again, then.
Could be big momentum putt alright. A bogey could have set him up for a rough round. Be expecting to hole everyting again now tho,........small margins.

72& of the play left and a 3 shot gap. I know Scott is probably paling the most consistent and best golf of the last 2 years and should rightly have been awarded no. i spot last year but he is not that good that we can call a winner yet. I dont wish it on him and I have him in the competition but one double bogey from him will throw it wide open again and there are still plenty able young guns playing without fear and a birdie run is not in any way out of the question. At this stage, I want to congratulate Padraig Harrington on 2 solid rounds that leave him at -4. All players learnt a lesson re wearing sunscreen and from now on in Europe, casual or club team members could do worse than pack the golfbag with sunscreen. No good leaving it in the looker. Boots have a tremendous range at prices we can afford. Do not use out of date products.

For several weeks now some of my players have been in contention all the way through the tournament, but this is a complete disaster for me and anyone that isn't on Scott.

Tiger will play the Masters - follow the money - some shrewdie on here must have some inside info as they have backed him £3 @ 1.02 to play the masters.
Thrown in the towel. Bowed the neck. Turned the prayer mat to the east. Totally given up. Even looking at getting rid of my Grrens on Noh @ 680, English @ 150 and Howell @ 210. Have laid Scott at 1.22 to put all my losers equal. Good luck with yours.

Hope you did ok on the gee gees Quincy. No bet for me apart from the golf and a small bet on Man Utd. Traded a little at lowest prices on Scott and backed back a bit higher. But sitting on a very nice card if Adam has a poorish front nine tomorrow. I am showing amazing patience, something that I was unaware of it being in me.

Was a bit unlucky at times with the 1.05 field bets, laid two in one race. Desperately wanted Take The Cash placed in the 5.05 Bangor, traded at less than 9/4 to win the race, finished in the usual place for good each way bets, (fourth).

An unusual small drift of about 5 or 6 ticks in Adam since the early hours of today which is not stopping. Somebody must know something as I do not think it is a natural drift. I was very impressed with the experience shown by Adam Scott's caddy, Steve Williams, early in yesterdays round. When there was a more than anxious few holes, he totally took charge of things and like the excellent pro that Scott is, he listened, took his medicine and marched on. Patrick Reed might take a leaf out of Scotts book and employ a decent caddy. @Quincy, sounds like you are back on top of things .

I've had to back Keegan here, he has so much momentum coming off not just yesterdays round but also a low round on Friday too... Absolutely fearless competitor and won me a lump when he took down Furyk from a few back in The Bridgestone a few years back. Just get the feeling Adam has everything to lose here and Keegan will feel like he is freerolling having been 8 shots back after 2 rounds to be in the final group just 3 back he will be buzzing, whereas you feel Adam will be thinking "Am I going to blow a 7 shot lead?"

TMMIDWI, Kokrak looks like better value to me, 1 behind Keegan, three times the price. How you get out of yours mystifies me. If Keegan goes to to about 6/4, I'd be a layer.
How I get out of the hole is if Keegan or Kokrak win, I ain't laying at any point :)

TMMIDW, you obviously haven't realized I am a dedicated coward. Limit the loss is my mantra.
There's the start I was looking for, just what I wanted a missed 5 footer from Scott, this will make him a bit uncomfortable, actually if it gets really windy its really difficult to use that boomstick, belly now easy either but easier than a boomhandle..
Let's hope they're not going to make it easy for him.

The odd decent shot from the final paring, but on the whole an example of how not to play in the final pair.
The channel is well and truly swum. Had a double pop at Jason @ 21, laid @ 6.8. Then laid Scott @ 1.95, Every @ 3.4 and more Kokrak @ 6.8.
Kokrak the best, followed by Keegan and the field, then Every, Scott the worst. But all green. Hope Keegan comes good for you, TMMIDWI.

Amazing how well the guys can play outside of the final pair. No way Every is doing this last out.
Bit harsh Hank, Every is a decent player & the pressures are the same in the late pairings anyway, whether off last or not, all playing for the big bucks & the title..
Not sure I'd want to be laying Kokrak @ 70 or Bradley @ 190 on this course with 6 to play.
Just my opinion Rob. Of course he is a decent player, but not too often you'll see someone get his first victory in the final group. Normally they come off the pace with less spotlight on them than the final pairing. Scott played like a massive mug today though.
Congrats to Every though. Took advantage of shocking rounds from Bradley and Scott.
Was amazed that Senden won last week Hank! Would've been huge odds for me as a winner so anything's possible, some players gain confidence from being in the final group, others don't but would probably struggle to win anyway, sometimes things just slot into place..
Amazing, this was over. the three putt on friday was it Ponce

Adam turned it around for me. A medium loss this week, but Adam running away would have been my worst ever. Onto the next one.

no true winners out there now Tiger has gone off the boil.love the way lefty plays,never bottles it,just sometimes a bit 2 gung ho.u telling me Nicklaus or Tiger would not have hosed up after leading by 7 at halfway.4 his innate talent,Scott is an underachiever,something lacking-the killer instinct.see parallels in Rory,don't think he's gonna win anywhere near as much as people think.
