Harris English looks the most likely winner to me but there's no real value in his current price and with the other players at the top of the market having question marks over them it's probably best to look elsewhere.
Paul Casey looks severely overpriced to me at 90/1. The former world #3 ranked golfer has been slowly but surely returning to his best over the past 18 months after struggling to overcome a troublesome shoulder injury. Casey picked up his first win in over two years at the Irish Open last year and has continued to play well since recording 6 top 20 finishes in his last 7 outings, the last of these a tie for 12th at the Honda Classic on the PGA Tour two weeks ago. While his course form isn't eye-catching he shot a 64 to lead here in the first round in 2011 before 3 rounds in the 70's where he slipped to a tie for 37th place. Casey spoke positively early last year about his game revealing his aspirations of making the Ryder Cup squad and returning to the worlds top 10. Currently ranked 88th in the world, Casey's sights must first be set on returning to the worlds top 50 and with plenty of ranking points i'm sure he's extra motivated to put in a big performance this close to the Masters.

i think im gonna go with furyk from here. Hello everybody!
It's amazing how often these guys have a perfect line of sight with no obstructions playing out of the trees. If it was me, I would be dead behind the centre of the tree and ave to manufacture a 10 metre shot backwards
barely, when i last posted afters rorys aus win i said i been a bit ill but getting better.....i was wrong lol. but im hopefully alive for a bit longer! hope your luck has been in!
That doesn't sound good mate. Hope everything works out for you health wise.
Hello meng - good to see you back! I really do love this part of the season with tough courses and the Masters around the corner!
hey hank mate. thanks rhino, im looking like i will be fine now. so im bak to picking my vast wekly teams on the golf, seen some new guys posting which is good, they can also tell me to pick more players each week lol
one thing i really need to know is......
has ski had a losing week yet
has ski had a losing week yet
lol legend of ski. its the little things that make the forum worth it
Should be an interesting weekend here, nice weather tomorrow so if Saturday setup is generous should see some good scores and a few charges from the pack. Then Sunday looks to be very windy so it could be hanging on for grim death. Pretty much exactly how you'd want a weekend to shape up.
I did manage to do a reverse forum curse on Furyk to get a 59 while you were away meng
hehe nice work. im still stuck on backing furyk since last year....hes gotta get a grip soon surely
he looks too big to me every week, except this week cuz of the course, but still gotta do it
would it be crazy of me to say i think -5 migh be the winning score and either furyk or greg chalmers will go close...
i just get a feeling its gonna be that kind of weekend.

Great round from Retief, looks like a much better day for scoring so probably won't be the last. But should find himself somewhere in contention now.
I expect a cheque in the post Garrigus Going to have to be a meltdown to lose this. Not the most inspiring chasing pack is it?!

Yep he is. This may be the first tourny in ages where I don't have a bet. Would normally like to take Garrigus on and almost convinced myself to get on Na and Perez, but talked myself out of it.
Rose is playing well. His masters price is very nice right now.
Final group on the clock. 3rd to last group is waiting on 11 fairway, 2nd last on 10th fairway, final group finishing 8. Na is a nightmare.
They should put Na on the clock from the time he steps off the practise green
It begins? Garrigus finally parred a par 5 and now bogeys the short par 4. Cracks appearing...
If that's the case then it would have to be Rose. Na won't keep it up and Senden always finds a way to blow a good chance.
Rose is looking good. Left a few out there with the putter as well.
Gotta get up and down for par on the par 5 now with the Snake Pit to come.
Looking for a good wind player for tomorrow. Quite like Hoffman's position, has gone well in the wind before, remember him winning the Hope in something close to a gale.
Hard to tell what you'll get with Goosen these days, but certainly has the experience.
Has a decent Open record Retief but yes could easily plummet tomorrow.
Na takes two practice swings behind the ball and then one next to the ball

Out of hospital after repairs to arterial aneurysms. Two choices, stick with Senden or burn the book and lose about £30.00. I think he'll play well, but I don't really fancy him to win. Only other winners under par are George McNeill and Jim Furyk. Not a clue which way to jump. Good luck with yours.

Don't worry about Senden Quincy, high chance of birdie on the 1st hole, he will be in with a chance.
hmmmm quite a few players under par - doesn't really fit with it being breezy?
http://instagram.com/p/lm51iurTXX/ - video was about an hour ago and getting breezier
It's already under 8....got in at 10.5 last night as thought 10.5 was too generous.
How low do you need Senden to go to turn your book into green?

Pretty sure the shrewdies will be laying Senden @ 4ish...can he prove them wrong?
Sorry not to have replied sooner, Ski. Asleep in the chair, 5.5 or 9/2 in old money.
Laid a small bet on Rose at 4.5. I like the way Kevin Na knocked in that last par put from 8 feet. I have a feeling Justin,s putting may leave him down on the back nine but he is playing his way around the course like a veteran. Swing looks fine. Lurking not too far back is Luke. Both boys hitting form for Augusta. Now may be the time to check out oddschecker for their best price on the Masters if you fancy either of them.
Laid off my bet on Rose and backed him back at 5.0. Now laid fav at 4.00 with the same money.
@ Quincy.... I am promising myself I will learn how to send webtexts. Out of credit again. Biggest 2 wins on Chelt. were the pre Chelt situ on Ante Post in Triumph and a good crack on the winner of the stewards enquiry in the Gold Cup. Just about levellish overall I think, if I include fees to cover tipping comp in my local pub.
Senden top player until back nine...maybe today's the day...not backing or laying but interesting to view..
Quite gutted not to have a penny on this now. Seems like a real lottery now though. Save it for next week. You doing alright TB?
Not bad, need to get Justin beat but it's been a good event for backing high and laying low. Very, very big on Charley now, nice comeback.
Yeah the Hoffmeister does like to make a run off the radar. Luke sneaking up there too. Could we have more of a contrast in speed in the final pair? Garrigus and Na lol

...and then Charley misses a 3 footer. One week I'll get this guy right.
Langley and Senden -6, Kokrak -5. All playing like its the worst Euro tour event ever, anyone could win as all of them useless.
Langley leader -6
Senden, Kokrak -5
McKenzie, Donald, Na -4
Senden, Kokrak -5
McKenzie, Donald, Na -4
thanks Langley or senden would be fine kokrak or McKenzie catastrophic
How bad can this lot be!! Never seen such a poor bunch.
Senden a total mug, always has been, how the hell have i ended up with him, gutless idiot.
Did Garrigus really make a big putt to get within 1? He will be gutted if he misses by a shot after that front 9!
I hope u r right Orz, personally just can't see it, feel we need some fluky shot from somewhere with him the way he's doing his best to throw it away.
The guy who wants £684 on Kokrak at 1000 is optimistic.
Well, if you are going to win after 8 years on the PGA without a win then what happened on 16 and 17 works lol. Good luck to him, you need to get some luck for the wins on tour.
+€29.07 after some no loss trading. I got it right on my earlier statement. Hope it helped somebody.
