If a yank based player hadn't already qualified for the Open, don't think may would bother coming over for this on the off chance they win to qualify. Too big a distance, they would stay home I think. The reason not many of the top 20 are here is because they prefer to practice the week before. How many of the top 20 played the week before the US Masters or the US Open. |

Any early birds up, nice price 3 ball bet this morning: 8.25 am tee time.
9/4 Branden Grace to bt P Casey.and Martin Laird. The books have priced up this on current form but feel Casey may burn out today and Martin Laird is more used to a Pga set up even though born and bred Scot. Branden has won a few times on the links at Fancourt in S Africa and showed glimpses yesterday he was coming back to his best yesterday. Worth a punt in my book though would be more confident with a bit of wind which ain't happening this morning. GL, I will probably need it here!  |
