Not a lot, Ski.  You can show a profit laying the odds-on chances on the American racing on the sand.  Don't bet each way on the golf and don't bet on first goal scorer.  Annoyed I didn't lay Djokovic at about 1.2 before the start of this match, though.

Big fluctuations though, Ski.  Good for trading, I think.

@sonofshinner... I have been wrestling with the same thing . He spoke a lot of sense in his after golf interview today. He made the point that he has what it takes if he can get into position on Sunday. You have to agree with him there. So, do we wait until after tomorrow's round before making up our mind.. I am still not certain as I did not rate his chances before round 1. He has been playing a lot of rubbish but admitted he has put in a lot more work on his game over the last 2 weeks. I do believe that.

@Quincy... you will be out and about before me in the morning. You might listen in to Ch 4 and get their views on Integral in the Distaff.

Tennis great for trading. Do check out the NFL as well when season rolls around, similar fluctuations but moves slower so much better for us in Oz with our stupid laws making us use the phone. Angry

Playing the women tennis winner market for the first time......laid all my small green on Bart at 1.01 and now 1.18. Very comical. Does it happen often?
Perhaps i should get involved a bit more.....my time zone only.

I told you it was good value, Ski.  My first move was to lay Bartoli at 1.31, then at 1.03, then backed at 1.12 and 1.19 for a profit.  One point against the serve and the prices move 20 per cent.  Having said that, I didn't play to well.  Lisicki was layable at 1.28 in the first set.

Missed that one......started after the 1st set was played.

You're right the prices movements are volatile.

Surprised you don't more often ski given your obsession with trading. Tennis/NFL/NBA right up your alley

It looks like the French Open has gone t**s up for me.  Going to move some of my green on Sterne.  Either to Dyson or to lay McDowell and Bjorn @ about 4/5 coupled.  Then it's a pop at one out of Davis, Hoffman and Chappell in the Greenbrier.

I like to stick to what i know best. Also don't want to spend my life indoors trading 24/7. Did tennis as it was on BBC and the same time as golf. If it was on Tuesday i wouldn't have bothered.

Certainly not getting involve with NFL/NBA, assuming USA rubbish, as know nothing about those sports.

No idea, Ski.  I would have thought that the Men's would have had the 5 second in-play delay yesterday.

Disappointed with Zano today....biggest green and he goes into meltdown.

Just need Storm to get a birdie or 2 and the book will be ok.....would be 10 times better if Zano played properly.

Maybe in match market but not winner market. Got a horrible feeling tomorrows winner market will delayed.

Fair point about sticking to what you know, but from a time perspective, a basketball game is 2 hours and an NFL game 3 and a half. Golf is 4 days... with far less liquidity. Educate yourself, won't go broke laying low in either sport just like Tennis. As I said, right up your alley as a trader. Could spend more time playing golf instead of watching it.
