interest is always higher when in the british isles, dunno why as lots of us are spread out, plus the irish like a bet so prob a few extra wagers on
By:
Added Bjorn at lower price than should have and also took some of Padraig at a bigger price, hoping he gets a score this morning before the wind picks up.

If tiger was playing the AT&T tobe there would be more money there. Plus Rose pulled out. The UK drives Betfair, I know for a fact as when I monitor markets during the day in Australia there is little movement. Once the UK wakes up it's all systems go. An event in the UK will always attract attention and without Tiger and the UK boys competing, the Irish was always gonna win.

It's a sign of the times, i'm afraid, toberaheena. £532k on the US Tournament, £565k on the Irish Open. And that has to be halved, to account for backers and layers. Nothing is the same any more. A survey on the news today said that a single person needed £17k a year to be comfortable, yet the Old Age Pension is less than £5k a year. Betfair don't help, publicising the the Sportsbook far more than the Exchange. 6 flat meetings today, so probably no bet there. You'll gather I'm a bit depressed this morning.

Jacquelin started well....all the par 5's ahead of him and 2 off the lead
By:
Same thing could be said of Peter Uihlein, 2 under after 5 with the par 5's to come and leading by one.
By:
True, Big hitting Victor Dubuisson playing catch up nicely too....looks like the possibility of a few low scores today
By:
Add Robert Rock to the list, too. 3 under after 6.
By:
That should be 3 under after 5, playing the par 5 now.
By:
Scoreboard playing tricks again it seems

By:
They've just changed the Irish Open leaderboard, Rock's score for the 5th on the back nine has disappeared.
