It's my opinion that the winner would be someone who birdie a hole or 2 before hole 4 then par on hole 5 and 6. The 1st 6 holes are crucial before the middle stretch and the crucial final stretch.

Scrub that 17 playing 10 yards shorter but 18 still playing 521 yards. 15 is back up to over 400 yards too and the short par 3 is playing 115 yards

I think that was 2 hours 55 minutes for Robert Karlsson's round.

You would have to say that at 1 over, Karlsson might just be a very good benchmark for today's scoring. It will be interesting to see where he is in the standings just before the leaders tee off.

Remember reading the week before the US Open where Tiger won by 15 he had a practice round at his regular course.It was a windy day and Tiger broke the course record ,Butch proceeded to lump on for the following week.Must have made for pleasant viewing for Butch. |
