Toying with laying the top four, they've all got questions to answer, imo. Might lay Garcia instead of Westwood though. As Lee is on my over the cliff list.
|

Looks like we're going to be on opposite sides of the fence this week, Ski-Wiz. Just can't the top four at 2/1, or the top five at 6/4.
|
|
By:
There's no shortage of class here Quincy, so laying the top-4 could work out quite well.
|
|
By:
£200 on Wee Rory at 11.
|
|
By:
Presumably thats 11/1 Heinz . He is that with more than one of the books .

cant see how anyone could back Garcia for this - his head is all over the place and that's before we remember the sawgrass meltdown - wouldn't back him at 50s!
westwood another who struggles to get over the line wee rory been collapsing after good opening rounds of late in the states - I have been told his head is all over the place at the moment though I will refrain from putting up the reason that my sources have given as it is pretty incredible luke totally out of "winning" form though 6 top 25s in 7 tourneys stateside isn't that bad Justin rose at 12-1 to win anything is a nonsense Gmac and kaymer have possibilities but suspect gmac may be a bit done after his latest 2 wins though on form I will be backing him small, kaymer needs a big week to convince me he is truly back anyway, at the prices it has to be grace, colsaerts and a little on McDowell good luck all |
|
By:
Was originally looking to back Kaymer but think he's too short considering he was double the price in what was a weaker tournament last week - albeit, played well. So have just taken Chris Wood as my only pre-tourney.

Quincy.....I should be clear.........not all are backed.
Some are laid, some are backed and most are traded. Laid the afternoon starters as weather apparently worse in the afternoon than morning. Backed Garcia at 25 but only got £1.95 matched ![]() then full bank laid at 19 and now traded at 22 and 23. Love it when it worked out in that manner. |

Alexander Noren Finally matched. |

?????
So ski... You just reel off a couple of dozen names, and now you say you have backed some, traded some, and laid some ???? What exactly was the point in listing those names without saying which you have backed, or laid ? My Mum used to send me to the shops with a list... Bread, milk, eggs. I often returned with no bread, no milk, and no eggs. I was, however laden with Black Jacks, Fruit Salads, and Fireman's Hoses. You are, without doubt, a master at keeping your options open. No wonder you never lose. |

Big drift on my man Wiesberger....
Has he eaten some of Sergio's dodgy fried chicken ? I will top up. |

fruit salad and black jacks

Two more dogs to walk. Then I'll make a decision, there does come a time when you have stick your neck out. Might do just that this week, if I can find a potential big priced 10k winner.. Almost sure what to do.

I used to do that last year but couldn't be bothered this year.......all i know they will be traded asap.....then depending on the leaderboard, repeat the cycle everyday. You are welcome to post many more humourous 'metaphors'. |

Fireman's Hoses
Never heard of them.....i must be too young ![]() |
|
By:
I will join you maggot in sticking the old neck out. I have backed Olesen, Manassero & Broberg, 3 young players I love in equal measure. I prefer to think that the hype surrounding the presence of the Ryder Cup team at this event has openend seams of value in this market.
|
|
By:
Just need Olesen to drift a bit more....Manassero too low for me
|

J'ai ajoute Monsieur Havret a 880.....
C'est magnifique. |

2 against the field for me
Westwood and Horsey |

Hate missing the price nearly as much as backing favs in the golf.
But still think he's best at the prices. One bet for me. Rory @ 11. |
|
By:
@Quincy...lol....Walsh awarded the race for dangerous riding by jockey on winner. If Sergio is in the same form as that when he was battling Tiger last week, then he must have a really serious chance here.

Went yesterday.
Followed Donald,Garcia and Lewis in the morning. Luke wasn't hitting his irons that well on the range but was pretty tidy once on the course. They knocked it on the head at the turn and went in for lunch.Bjorn was winding up Garcia where holes 7,8,9 and 10 meet shouting across from another hole "How's your mate Tiger?".Missed Rory (on his own) playing holes 1-3 but caught up with him as he left the 4th green and took a short cut up the road on a greenkeepers wagon to the 15th where he joined up with Wiesberger (only saw 4 holes but hitting it very well) and Manny.Rory crushed his drive at 17,30-35 yards past Wiesberger who'd hit a corker.Rory then hit a decent fairway wood and was still 50-60 yards short of the green.18 Rory hoofed it into left bunker with his drive on 18.He reloaded and hit a great one (only 2 yards past Wiesbergers though) into the ideal spot to have a go at the green in 2 which he and Wiesberger both achieved (Rory 2nd ball).First time I've been to Wentworth for about 15 years couldn't believe how tough it now plays.Good luck with your trading.Have a good week.Dunlop. |
|
By:
How was Lewis then ?
|
|
By:
Looked a bit short on confidence.Missing quite a few shots.Made worse by playing alongside a couple of top players though to be fair to him.Nice kid.Hope he gets back to his best.
|
|
By:
So do i.....hoping his swing changes are sorted.
|
|
By:
Had a big lump on Garcia on the strength of what I saw on the range and out on the course but traded out a few hours ago on the strength of his comments last night. His head can't be right.Either before or after he said it.Should let his clubs do the talking.

Sergio now shortening up for you again Ski.
Good luck to the full field layers. Overrounds at 103.7 (with 40+ at 1000-1) and 92.2%. As someone said earlier though, I still can't find the value ![]() I took some 55s for Grace and 65s for Siem though. |
|
By:
great thread ...one who has not had much of a mention (might be on some of the long lists) is Jamie Donaldson....
His position in the market appears out of synch with his world ranking, he has decent recent course form and has got the monkey off his back since he last played here. Seems to me it is only relative lack of recent playing activity which makes him the price he is. |

Sergio now shortening up for you again Ski. No thanks....maybe at 19....... |

An important fact Ski. Thank you.

Westwood, Olesen,& Colsearts last two e.w at 50s & 66s
A.Hansen to place 66s top 6 with bet victor. |

A team of 29!
McIlroy was good value and have taken him Others of great value is Lara at 1000s played well here and this season coming back from injury. Jamieson played well this year and here at 330s Maybin 900s Gonzalez 550 decent record here Cabrera-bello too good to be so big Kruger 900s And many more |
|
By:
Also took a lump on Fisher at 95s for reasons mentioned and he has played well this year without putting
