Love to be a fly on the wall when a decision is made, because if he isn't DQ you could retire on the profit you can make on here!

Strong possibility that Betfair will void all Tiger Woods bets struck after the second round was completed in the event of a disqualification.

Tiger has admitted that he did not drop the ball as near as possible to where he had played the original shot from.

There is no grey area here. He has to be disqualified.

No grey area ??? -'as near as possible' is not defined well enough - it should state within a certain distance (eg. 12ins, a yard etc)
To some it could mean as far back as they want

resettled... but how? if you've withdrawn funds - cancel withdrawal?

if you have bets on at bookies shop, better be quick!

Exeptional circumstances to have such a delay for a decision re DQ..could take some resolving if thrown out..

if affects almost every market so which do you and don't you void, top 4 v, top american, v usa, top 10's, make the cut. 3 balls etc etc.

Doesn't really matter what he did on the course.

If he's signed for an incorrect score on his card then he's out.

It's up to the player to make sure all is correct according to the rules.

It is open and shut. Maggot is spot on. He has said he purposely moved the ball two yards backwards to take the second shot.

He is gone. Absolutely no doubt whatsoever.

birch... The fella said that he went back another 2 yards,,

That is admitting that he was trying to gain an advantage, and also admitting that he did not want to play the shot from the same spot.

He is gone, IMO.

reminds me of eng v pakistan in the cricket when pakistan refused to come out to bat in protest and the market didn't have a clue

odds were 4.6 when this news broke

sky ramped it up to 8.0

Er...why should later bets be voided? (And I am not talking through my pocket here btw......) BF have left the market open, you play at your risk. Would this discussion even be taking place if the relevant party was one of the 1,000-1 chances? I think not.......

Looks like he is going to get the bot.
If you backed him, that's the chance you took for him breaking the rules.
Just imagine the unbridled gloating if Wee Rory had been in a similar position.
Whilst I do sympathise .......a part of me is saying....SLAP IT UP YOU. Happy
