He also took a bad drop, leading to a two-stroke penalty that was levied on Saturday morning. Woods was not disqualified because of a relatively recent rule which allows the rules committee discretion when it comes to violations reported after the fact." |

This is basically the Padraig Harrington rule. .. there is a rule instituted in 2012 that covers a 2-shot penalty for called in violations |

he did sign his card btw. its a new rule brought in after uspga last yr where is tv shows rule infringement u get 2 shot pen not dq. it was brought in coz the better players thought it unfair every shot of theres is on tv and others arent
