Well at least we've got rid of that annoying troll for a while, although I suspect he may be back come Masters week.

Puggy, Despite not being an odds backer myself I agree that Tigers price is still value. From a quick look at his past record I can only see the 2009 PGA and the 2004 Tour Championship as times when he's blown a 54 hole outright lead.

Been in Sydney all weekend, barely seen a shot. Needless to say, pretty confident Tiger will close out fairly comfortably. from what I understand he's left a few out there as well through the first 2 days. Arnie likes the tough pin placements on Sundays here, extra degree of difficulty will only play further into Tiger's hands. 1.5 very generous for the man who will be no 1 in the world this time tomorrow.

I am not a Tiger lover.  Impossible to denigrate his golfing talent, but he comes across as arrogant, and his manners are appalling.  On top of that, the Sky Studio sycophants do my head in and it will only get worse when he wins.

But I can't see anyway that he will lose this, given the Rose meltdown on the back nine yesterday and the fact that he has destroyed Fowler before.  The other -8s don't fill me with any confidence, although Gonzalo is a bit of an unknown quantity and a big price and I have a lot of time for Olesen, who is playing the front nine well.

I'm better off now than I was on Friday morning, having traded Tiger and Justin well last night.  My only mistake was not laying Bill Haas at less than 3/1, I put him in at 3.85 and cancelled it.

So, the only question is at what point do I back Tiger.

I would think the wind would blow any storms through pretty quickly and if they thought there was going to be a problem tee times would have been changed

Backed Bill Haas today. Also on Fowler,Walker and Bradley.

Fairly confident of one of these winning.

im on woods and fowler from the outset, dont really want to lay them back and give away too much profit..who would you suggest as an extra insurance at the prices? rose? huh?

Or you can lay both of them and wait for a while to see what happens

Fowler has a shocking record when paired with Tiger,  and i mean really shocking.

Fowler lacks mental strength and this will show against Tiger.  He seems more concerned with fashion and image than his golf.  If Rose can get his game back he might push Tiger but I can't see anyone else doing so.

Rickie fowler looks a good back at the current 11.5's , i think he's the only one that might challenge the tiger

I think Keegan Bradley can put another 66 up there which could be enough to win it if Tiger has a few wobbles. The wind speed is a huge unknown.

save your money on fowler

will double at some point when nearing contention.

i should know i usually back him most weeks

True SCoM, it's a punt. I'm hoping he can just stare at the wind with come classic angry Keegan awkwardness and make it hide somewhere else around the course.
