As a poster has previously stated, the big names around the top of the leaderboard create some tempting prices about quality players close up and very hard resist the 55 about G-Mac who is only four off the pace.

I can understand why the layers are scared of Tiger/Rory given their form the past few weeks but theere is still great odds out there for the weekend and given the way the way the course is playing even the lads on -7 must still have half a chance yet. Should be some weekend if it stays this bunched.

Aint exactly bunched is it ?? -9 and back are 3 behind Rory and Tiger and you expect 1 of them to shoot -5 today so the big prices are correct... Tiger and Rory should be 2/1 ... 3/1 the pair is a great price.. |

3 /4 Shots in golf is feck all, especially with the quality behind those two. Prices right front two, probably, those behind prices right maybe, value yes in my book. GL with your shorties though.

Have Tiger backed myself, and very happy that Rory is not playing with him today. A great par putt on 17, and bird on 18 could imo be papering over a bit of fatigue creeping into rory. And perfectly acceptable that would be. I feel he may have been feeding off the buzz of playing with tiger, adrenalin may run out today. Would not be surprised at all to see a relatively poor round from him today. Considering laying him for top 5, about 1.17. Still think dusty will prove the danger to tiger. Powers had a special, if second to tiger or rory, win stake refunded. Anyone know if this was limited to a certain stake, or any particular medium through which you bet??

Tiger needs to get over the 3rd round yips. I'm with Deplasterer, there is value to be had and the course playing easy takes away some of the edge Rory and Tiger have. All these guys are good enough to carve the track up. Betting wise, taken more out of BVP and added Noh, GMac and Poulter.

Tiger looked much more like himself last weekend. Agreed the easy nature of the track makes it more of a lottery. Balls still required come Sunday tho. So Vj and Westwood will prob forget how to hole them 5footers.

At least 8 players capable and with the form in the book. Haas looks huge at 50-1 with one book, 1/4 1-4, came to life this time last year and whilst he sounds nervous, so what at 50s. Says he played the same for two days running, just the putts went in. Dustbin obvious and would surely only be 11/12 w/o the Big Two. Scott, Gmac all very capable of -6 rounds over the weekend. Even that useless twonk Phil must have a great shout with this thick stick
Win or lose, these all look simply too big and simply as they expect the top two to dominate. |

Cheers DP. Had 150 e.w Dusty, so hopefully he finishes second to Tiger!!

pattayaboy, Rory and Tiger coupled are evens, not 3/1. Haven't backed either myself and my heart says one of them is likely to win, but my head says there's no value there. With Rory hitting a lot of tee shots to the right and Tiger well-publicised third round problems recently, I'm not getting involved with them. I can green up, but I have reduced my exposure by 50 per cent, with six of the top ten in the betting good winners with Louis, Brandt, Ernie and Sergio as mega winners. So I'll stick for now. Good luck with yours, all.

had tiger from the start of the week and to be honest not entirely confident. missed alot of fairways yesterday and that coupled with his 3rd round troubles has me tempted to lay off. But backed him on his form last weekend so will leave it ride and see how he starts today. Dustin is a great price to trade for me. he's consistently shooting rounds in the 60's and continue with that he should be in contention come tomorrow. rory looks to be tiring a bit with alot of trouble off the tee. really annoyed with vijay as backed him last weekend
still the quality around the top of the leaderboard should be too much for vijay to contend with. |

Tee times delayed an hour, first tees now 5 GMT. winds gusting to 20mph today should make things interesting, might tighten the field further after this evening.

Birdies everywhere. Market all over the shop, taken stakes back on GMac, backed at 50 a few hours ago, 36s now and in a worse position
