No Callit, can't have his putting at the minute, but is driving it as well as he ever has, if he can putt this week he is a danger. 3's top irish with the books, was hoping Heinz would have layed me 4.5 against Boy WonderDevil

Yeah, Pod putting really lettin him down. I still think its a pure confidence thing, if he had a few rounds where he is consistently knockin in his share of ten footers, he could turn it around very quickly. And considering he better tee to green now, than when he won the 3 majors,...the glory days might not be far away!! Or i could just be dreaming again!

One at a big Price, Hoffman. 21st total driving stats this year. Also recently finished 8th at the Heratage (Harbour town links) and 2nd at the travellers - both Dye courses. Out very early from Tee 1 on the thursday, 600+ seems very fair.

work cut out now Shocked

This will probably give a few people a laugh but I am sticking with my two main bets from the Open.  Full list of bets:

T Woods @ 10.77 - I think this is a better bet than he was 3 weeks ago.  Back in the States, on a long par 72 with 4 par 5s and another 4 par 4s that will play like easy par 5s.  Traditionally these are the courses he does well on.  And I just think you will never go far wrong backing Tiger Woods to win golf tournaments.

A Scott @ 34 - Still think this guy is a class act since hiring Williams and rededicating himself.  Knows how to win, despite collapse at Lytham.  I am keeping the faith.

B Watson @ 34.5 - in my mind, I just find it hard to NOT see him contending this week.  The course looks similar to Whistling Straits and players have said as much.  Length will be a huge advantage.

J Day @ 85 - Just big enough for me to get involved as he's still a player I like despite a very disappointing 2012.  Was in contention at Whistling Straits before a couple of whiffs in the thick rough derailed his round.  Still only 24 and has contended at 3 Majors.

S Garcia @ 90 - Not much to back up this pick other than I still have faith in Garcia coming back and winning a Major at some point.  Class is permanent and we've seen from many other players how they can come back from a mid-career slump.

G Ogilvy @ 130 - Surprisingly big price for a guy whose been playing some OK golf this year and has a history of popping up in the bigger events.  Unfortunately I was not able to get much on at this price, all week someone was obviously hoovering any decent amount that became available.

S O'Hair @ 451 - Not a player I back very often but I think at a price this big it's worth a punt for a player that has won 4 times and seems capable of popping up and winning out of nowhere.

J Huh @ 341 - Possible star of the future, already won on Tour, worth a go at a big price.

C Tringale @ 401 - Young, hits it miles, why not.

R Karlsson @ 468 - Knows how to win and has been in contention a few times in the States in the last couple of years.

Best of luck everybody, hope it's an exciting tournament with few weather delays.  And no 72nd hole collapse/DQ to scupper my bets Angry

Made a bit of a mess of this, missed Rory and DJ.  Substituted K. T. Kim and Ernie for smaller stakes.  Team of about 30 altogether.  Good luck, should be a bit of fun for four days anyway.
