Some interesting prices, DJ at 26s surely an over reaction to the length whilst Luke can't be second fave on the longest course in major championship history, you're having a laugh there. I like Louis, was bombing away last week and is very streaky, he puts his best performances together in bunches.
All in all though, this is a lottery really - no prevailing wind so the draw could play a part, little to no course form to go off and Pete Dye courses have thrown out some strange winners over the years and Kiawah is ranked by golfdigest as the hardest course in America. |

Dustin, Bubba, Keegan, Webb, plus a little interest in JJ Henry at 570, would be rude not to really at those odds.

Am I the only one who saw Thomas Aiken @The Open? Really solid play there but now totally forgotten @350. Good driving distance and nice accurate stats (also checked on European Tour) + solid GIR stats

Zach at 60s surely is to big...length is a key sure, but he was one shot from play off at whistling straits - similar course, pete dye design

Best bet for me this week Ian Poulter (120).Never backed him before and doubt i will ever be backing him again but to his credit he does play links courses well.
Also backed Kyle Stanley 150 Branden Grace 230 Cameron Tringale 440 John Daly 480 William McGirt 640 Blake Adams 740 Jimmy Walker 640 Will also be backing Watson,Bradley and Fowler at some stage of the tournament. |

One at a big Price, Hoffman. 21st total driving stats this year. Also recently finished 8th at the Heratage (Harbour town links) and 2nd at the travellers - both Dye courses. Out very early from Tee 1 on the thursday, 600+ seems very fair.

Laptop's playing up :(
i'll get to the point, the standout bet for me is Garrigus @ 100's e/w first 6 with Betfred. Theres been a lot of rain in the area and it looks set to continue so the course is playing very soft and will play ever yard of it's 7600+. The last major he played in similar conditions was last years US Open and he finished in the top 5. By his own admission he should have won the Canadian Open by 7 if his putter behaved on Sunday which would have got him into the Bridgestone, his long game was superb, long and accurate from the tee and he's really improved his wedge game. I think having last week off though could be a blessing in disguise as he has been at the course all of last week practicing from the info that i have read online and that will be at an advantage this week, the grass on and around the greens this week are hardly ever played on the PGA Tour and will take a little bit of getting use to from the players who played Firestone last week. Also from reading last years comments at the Open he doesn't mind playing in the wind, in fact id go as far to say he loves it (although he did miss the cut but it was his first attempt). 100-1 e/w is a superb price imo. Will also be backing my favourite golfer of all time, Jason Dufner. gl guys, looking very much foward to Thursday. |

Shame dustins price is so short. Big hitter, decent on links and a local boy.

Dustin backers will be happy to know there are no bunkers this week at Kiawah, all sandy areas are designated 'through the green' so club grounding is ok.
|
|
By:
haha. dustin. i still swear he knew he grounded it and looked sheepish that fateful day. not a cheat but certainly panicked.
|
|
By:
It was a schoolboy error on his part but it was never a bunker
|
|
By:
They were told beforehand and it was posted in the locker that it was considered a bunker
