First stop calling people muppets.

Then ring them up and get them to cancel it if they won't stand the price.

You are now chatting with Phil
Phil: Hi , how can I help?
Me: hiya phil
Me: i have had a bet on the irish open
Me: and i have just been informed by a friend that bookies can claim palpable error
Me: i was concernced and wanted you to check you would honour the bet i have placed
Phil: ok what was the bet
Phil: what were the odds
Phil: when was it placed
Me: thorbjorn olesen to win the irish open
Me: i have placed 2 bets
Me: one for £35
Me: and one for £52
Me: bets were placed a few hours ago
Phil: it is usually a human error within an individual company I have never seen that here tho'
Me: about an hour apart
Phil: I will just have a look for you :)
Me: thank you
Me: i just need to know for sure that the bet will be honoured if he wins
Phil: Do you think that the bet was a little too good to be true?
Me: basically yes
Me: but thats the whole point of betting, trying to find value
Phil: I know I'll just look into it for you now
Phil: what odds did you get?
Me: 66
Phil: /1
Me: 65/1
Phil: that will be fine :)
Me: that was a few hours ago tho
Me: the bet will be honoured?
Phil: yeah it will :)
Me: okay
Me: is the price going to be changed now or can i put more on it?
Phil: Its usually when you make a bet 'in play' when the odds are constantly changing
Phil: the odds shouldn't change unless something happens in the 'Open'
Me: so i can place more money on hit at 66 and the bets will be honoured?
Me: on it not hit
Phil: I have just seen oddschecker online and seen the comparrison
Phil: We usually have very good odds on all sports but that is very very good
Me: okay
Me: exactly that is what i was saying
Phil: well as far as we are concerend them odds are fine with us but ultimately the Global Betting Exchange has the final say if they thing our odds are too long but there is quite a wide variation on the market for the Irish Open so it should be fine. Good luck :)
Me: sorry phil
Me: i cannot accept "should be fine"

You are now chatting with Danny
Danny: Hi, Welcome to the casino, how can I help?
Me: hi danny can i talk to phil please
Me: i was talking to him but lost my connection

You are now chatting with Phil
Phil: hi did you get my last message?
Me: hi
Me: no i didn't
Phil: hi
Phil: ok
Me: sorry i lost my connection
Phil:  I know where you are coming from but all we can do is assume there is someone in the Global Betting Exchange looking at the Odds of different bookies at all times and they would of flagged it if they thought there was a reason to be alarmed, you get these kind of instances mostly in 'in play betting' when someone is constantly changing the odds eg if in a football match someones odds were changing to 50/1 and the person in charge of inplay betting types 500/1 by accident.
Me: okay
Me: so that means that the 66/1 i recieved is okay
Me: but why are you still 66/1?
Me: when he can be layed at 25/1 on betfair
Phil: there is no reason to change at the minute GBE would be in touch if they say a problem and we can't contact them to check our odds :)
Me: okay fine, so my bet is safe
Me: or not?
Me: phil?
Phil: either way I cannot say, i would recommend holding fire on making more bets at the minute tho'
Me: okay
Phil: sorry we are just discussing it in the office :)
Me: but your must understand my concern
Me: i need to know for certain if my bets i have placed will be honoured
Phil: of course, however we are in no position to say either yes or no im afraid
Me: haha
Me: so what am i suppose to do?
Phil: At the minute your bet is valid but everything is subject to change, you already have your two bets placed, I wouldn't recommend putting anymore on for now
Me: i understand that
Me: but what i am concerned about is; olesen loses and i have lost the £87, olesen wins and you cliam palpable error and i get £87 refunded
Me: so its a lose/lose situation for me
Me: if you claim palpable error will the bet be paid out at say 33/1 which is the price he was with william hill at the time the bets were placed?
Phil: Usually if there is an error it is usually picked up on really quickly so that is all the information I can provide at the minute because everything is subject to change, i'm sorry, I know this isn't what you want to hear but we literally can't make that call im afraid
Phil: sorry Linda
Me: right so what would suggest i do?
Me: wait till olesen wins then worry about getting paid out?
Me: why is he still 66/1 even though i have told you this price is wrong?
Phil: The price isn't necessarily wrong it could just be that we are offering better odds than most we literally can't say
Me: okay well that is great
Phil: I will leave a priority note on your account if you want to get back in touch closer to the event Tee off. I might suggest looking at the odds in 24hours or so and then contact us. Apart from that I can't suggest much more im afraid
Me: so contact you when tommorow morning?
Phil: Im working at the same time tomorrow 16.00 onwards so you could do it then if you like
Phil: 15.00 UK time
Me: no i can't
Me: the event restarts for the final round at 8am tommorow morning uk time
Phil: Im here till 11pm UK time tonight then there are staff here throughout the night so I can pass it over to them and you can contact anyone before the event starts
Me: i will take it upon myself to accept that 32red have offered me 66/1 on Thorbjorn Olesen to win the Irish Open 2012 and due to the fact i have asked on here and the price hasn't changed from 66/1, I will take it upon myself to accept that is price will be honoured
Me: if you want to contact me please do

Phil: as with all casinos and bookies all bets are subject to change due to foreseen and unforeseen circumstances. At the moment the bet is in place but anything can happen, im really sorry Linda but this is the same everywhere. I will save all of the information onto your file and when the 12am shift starts i will inform the team leader and all the staff ok
