Looking thru the posts seems that I'm the only one interested in Fowler.....therefore gone in again...this time at bigger price of 55's......astonishing, would like to think that he will be tradeable at the very least in the latter stages...
Or maybe he's still out on the lash....![]() |

I think the thing with Fowler is that firstly it's so difficult to win back to back on the PGA Tour. Barring players like Woods it's as rare as a winning selection from Heinz (just joshing Wee Buddy).
Then add in the fact that that was his first victory on tour. I'm not 100% sure but I imagine noone has ever followed up their first tour victory with their second the following week. Then add in the fact that this isn't any old tournament and any old field. That's why I imagine he isn't getting much attention and he's not for me, but best of luck with it. |

Branden Grace?

By:
Happier to back him on here as a potential trade - wouldn't be so keen at the bookies - but maybe he'll be taken more seriously at the business end...

I was on about the States but I had forgotten about Grace, I only really ever punt the US golf. Top correcting Crows

gone for the following
main winners ben crane 70s zach johnson 60s d toms 90s also done a few longshots john huh 310 brian gay390s mark wilson 350(way overpriced imo) smaller winner peter hanson 100s and small cover bets(small profit if win) jim furyk 50s steve stricker |
By:
Not sure how anyone else plays it but my stakes increase as the tourney goes on.
It seems to work best that way. |
By:
Well Karlsson once again is my main bet, 360s is a massive price for such a good golfer, has played well here before and played well last week.
In order of wins; Karlsson Couch Herron Cabrera Blanks Laird Yang Quiros Love Barnes Romero Els Stricker Then parts of Mcilroy Westwood Dufner Bradley Kaymer |
By:
Dufner
Fowler McIlroy Small bets on English, Dyson, Tim Clark Am wondering about Casey, not exactly on form but when he's hot he could win it and at 250 seems almost impolite not to have a little on him. |
By:
Getting a bit carried away this week, with all the big prices. My team, at the mo, in order of green..
Jimmy Walker Chris Couch Troy Matteson Colt Knost Martin Kaymer Robert Garrigus Kevin Stadler Ken Duke Tim Herron Bryce Molder Kevin Streelman Brian Gay Chad Campbell Stewart Cink Tiger Woods |
By:
Ive topped up a little and added Gary Woodland @ 450 average
By:
toms
ew and ew 1st round leader |
By:
Tim Clark won here two years back, and now he's out to 850-ish. His form isn't great since coming back from injury, but at that price I'm on.
By:
With Tiger and K Bradley starting in the 1st group......early......expect a price collapse when they get a birdie.....why is K Bradley available around 90?.......some strange layers on here.
By:
Has Bradley shortened his long jump routine pre shot?
By:
...that was his first victory on tour. I'm not 100% sure but I imagine noone has ever followed up their first tour victory with their second the following week...
I think David Duval did it back in late 90s my main thoughts are that this course really doesnt play to mcilroy's strengths alss seems to require more luck than a lot of other course to win so will be taking on the market leaders in general this week with JB Holmes my best winner |
By:
I have followed bradley most of the season...got paid off when he made that playoff but he has been useless the last few weeks.
By:
Westwood, Stricker & Boy Wonder.
By:
cannot believe no one has mentioned oosthuizen!!! My main bet
By:
Ive added Oosthaizen @ 44 as a late addition to my team, couldn't resist it..
![]() |
By:
i like ooustie but he is too short better value to be had
By:
Two more of the 1000 club added to the team.. Justin Leonard, and John Merrick. Topped up Garrigus @300.
By:
This is my lot so far - to trade at some point (hopefully):
JOHN ROLLINS 280 - 3 top 20s last 5 starts, 1st in driving, 13th 2 years ago. ROBERT GARRIGUS 290 - done nothing in 3 visits but 2nd twice this year and top 15 last 2 starts. SCOTT PIERCY 420/430 - top 20 3 of his last 4 starts, played here twice, 22nd 3 years ago. CHARLEY HOFFMAN 500 - top 15 2 of his last 3 starts, 37/22/26 last 3 visits. Lumped in on Keegan Bradley at 85s. Ridiculous price :D
By:
looks like i will have to back keegan now
how good is the price really? he has been around the 33/1 mark most of the season when playing very well...can you say it is a good price when he is playing **** ![]() |
By:
i see him missing the cut..think he is more interested in the NBA playoffs than golf
By:
86 on purple. Been bashing it.
By:
You cant be confident maggot?...Just the two bets so far..rickieeeeeeeeeeeee E/W and Justin rose..nobody mentioned him as yet...he looks like he is coming in here primed imo.
By:
Here we go:
Watney Fowler Kuchar Bradley Snedeker Johnson Toms BVP Hanson Els Senden Howell Jacobson ![]() |
By:
Harry. Yes, Keegan has missed his last 2 cuts, but not by playing that poorly. Prior to that, his game has been excellent. Quality ball striker, and a good putter. That will do for me.
