Lee Westwood pretty much the only player able to drive the fairways hence he leads
Another bogey for Phil here, he has gone |

mala, looks like Luke signed for the right total (75) but possibly the wrong score at the fifth (3 instead of 5) and it all depends on whether it's been written down as a 3, or if it's just a scroddy five that looks like a three.
Given that it adds up to the right amount he'll have a good case arguing it, however if he's signed for a 3 not 5, then it wont matter what the totals say, he'll be dq'd Pays yer money, takes yer chance at the moment. |
|
By:
maybe they'll say ****it you can have it as 73

Everything about Monty suggests he's a total bellend. Almost a shame I met him once on a flight soon after the Ryder cup and he was really rather nice and polite

no value backing luke unless its 3-figure imo

By:
Luke Donald shot 73, signed for 73, there is no problem. No story," according to an Augusta official.
|
|
By:
people still lumping on Westie at 6 on the first day, still worth the lay
|
|
By:
Read the rule 6.6D......clear as 2+2=4...If anyone returns a higher score then the result stand at the score the player put down.....so if Luke put 10 instead of 4 then that's his problem as he will have to play off +6

shocking, no coverage of rory
|
|
By:
it seems he may have signed for the right total but wrong individual hole score though ski, totals are none of the players business and if he's signed for 3 when he took five on one hole it's a dq even if he signed for 5 and took three on another.

Surely those reasonable chaps at Augusta don't mind relaxing the rules a bit to keep the good spirit of the occasion. Can't believe that the committee members could ever be accused of being pencil-pushing pedants.
That said, Luke probably thanking his lucky stars he isn't black |

By:
Donald shot 75. Copy of scorecard @DaveTindallgolf saw added up to 75, which is what he shot. But scorer guys told him math didn't add up.
|
|
By:
It may be a manky five that looks like a three though, in which case he may have a fair argument.
