Great chance of a smart ew double this week.

Anders Hansen has had the worste of the weather the last two weeks, but his game is very solid and I expect him to have at least a top 5 finish. Over the pond, Nick Watney has struggled of late, however, nothing like a favourite course to re ignite the juices, expect a bold show from him this week.

crowseye.  what does "lazy picks" mean pls ?
By:
CrowsEye
When: 15 Feb 12 14:44
Not very creative.

Doesn't take a tipster to pick Mickelson, Havret & Baddeley.

who tipped them crowseye ?

shocking stuff

Dont understand "lazy" tips theory, he is the most-read golfing tipster out there... you do your homework, you give your selections, simples. Palmer gives valid reasons for his selections, every time i read his write-ups i learn something about the course/conditions/player that i wasn't aware of. Far better than his predecessor's work and selections anyway. Not creative enough? Perhaps he should sculpt his selections and show them at the Tate Modern every Wednesday.

I think he does a brilliant job, massive golf profit last year thanks to him. Only racing post tipster in the same league for annual points profit would be pricewise and see the publicity he gets. They must be good as both get idiots like crows and donny showing their ignorance by dissing them.

When: 16 Feb 12 13:10
where have i dissed him please doorman

i have said, often, and i'll repeat for you...

he has a great record on the euro tour over the past 18 months or so and as far as i can see a dreadful one in usa

i'm fairly sure he is in profit overall in that period so his followers will be happy

quite why random peole feel the need to come onto a golf forum
and have a go at people without bothering to read the forum is beyond me

fishing ???

trolling ???

stalking ???

bored ???

He's one of the better tipsters, and he does a decent write up. I just wouldn't want to buy a Racing Post to be told to back the favourite in a 150 man field.

Don't worry though, he'll never top Chapman.

I tip, we all tip and I don't think there is an issue discussing somebody elses tips. Yes I can post some pretty scathing comments but I don't see why everyone gets so up in arms about defending him.

People are paying good money to buy that paper and I feel they should get something a little more than Mickelson and Baddeley (no value there after last week IMO).

I could be wrong, as people seem to think, but I don't need a witch hunt for criticising his picks. This is a golf betting forum after all.

Has the racingpost ceased publishing? Shame that coz S Palmer used to make a good read.
