Outstanding course form.......4 top five finishes from 7 starts.

It was sarcasm, pretty sure he puts him up every time he plays.

I couldn't back him at 25/1 anyway.

I'm sure he probably mentioned him along the lines of 'worthy favourite, hard to beat, kinda short and we are going to look elsewhere' in that particular kind of style he does so... well.

NAP the word flatstick was used somewhere in his article.

Steve Palmer is without doubt the best golf adviser working in todays press.

On fire this week with a great chance of an across the atlantic double.

I know. Started this season putting a fiver on each of his selections and im going to see how it does throughout the season. Not only does it look like grace will win. coetzee and weisberger both had v decent tournements. Good work Stevie!

got to be fair to the RP as we give em some stick elsewhere, this guy is on fire and does seem to have a great feel for an event.

Yeah ''feel for an event'' is spot on. There are bundles of stat/number crunchers out there (many of whom are succesful I hasten to add) but you get the feeling Steve Palmer is always looking along the right lines with the type of player he's backing in any given event. His record speaks for itself anyway.
Although I've still never met anyone who actually follows a ''tipster'' blind!

I wish I could follow some tipsters blind because some really do bring home the bacon but... I just have a personal thing about it. I need to do it myself the majority of the time.

2 half way leaders and Aiken and Lawrie also going well. Top tipster this guy !!

Lawrie available at over 40/1 in some places after 2 rounds. Looks a bit of value considering his form recently.

All gone wrong for Steve. Only realistic hopes are for places for Crane + Grace.

Surely he can't have another winner this week? That means my Haas and Rollins' bets are down. My Kaymer/Hanson picks for the tourny are going to be a flop.

Buggery.
