reed matsuyama thomas pieters rahm ok that'six but reckon the above are highly likely to win a major at some point. got a 20 year timeframe. players that wont: kuchar westwood rafa carbero bello maybe; garcia. could be in the latter group but such a good player that wouldn't write him off from winning one, though needs to happen soon. |

seems completely bizarre to me that so many picked rory to NOT win a major.
why would you choose a guy that's at the start of his career, and is one of the most naturally gifted to ever pick up a golf club? just because he presumably had a meltdown in one of his earliest grand slams, and completely misunderstands the value of experience. |

Wasn't really posting on the forum back then.
I'm sure it's the same people who say Spieth won't win on the US tour this year, the same people who wouldn't recognise talent if it came up and punched them in the face. |

to be fair if you just pick out the people like westwood who are past it as your picks to never win a major it's a bit boring.
and if you'd have said sergio would never win a major when he had that great run at the beginning of his career and nearly won the pga I'll have called you crackers. and not looks like it's more likely that he'll never win a major than win one. |

but adam scott and willett have won a major, so presumably they've removed some doubt over whether they're up to winning one in the first place
whereas a lot of these golfers haven't got the bottle to win one in the first place |
