Don't get me wrong... Not knocking Cink; he did what he did and that's cool.. Just didn't foresee him ditching the long stick.. Gutted! :(
By:
Who is this imposter posting with Par`s account ?
By:
Gutted i'm delighted after having probably ten stabs at trying to find the winner i finally played for Cink
By:
When did you back him Lanson ?
By:
Just near the end was going with him and Wood(much more on Wood though). When Wood bogeyed the last i swung wholeheartedly to Cink.I took some good and bad prices at different stages but averaged good i would say.I was in a mess on Sundays trading(but was well in front from thu/fri/sat) but sorted it and some.I worked well in the play off particularly
By:
Sounds like you played it exactly the same as me lanson. As for Ernie, his putting was again his nemesis, they read out yesterday his putting stats for the first three days and I think 32 was his best effort!
By:
Then he moved to the back 9
Actually I thought he played very well considering the way I thought he'd play |
By:
Just to add i acknowledge that it was somewhat fortunate to go to a play off but the first show was 4/5 5/4 which i thought to be wrong
By:
may yet have one left in him mate. If Stuart Cink can reverse into one, ernie can.
By:
have you seen him drive?
funny ol' things play-offs, I dont think Ive called one right in about 6 attempts |
By:
lanson, it was fortunate but the betting was all wrong as Watson played the last. It was as if nobody had seen how the hole had played. Numerous players had played the hole well enough and made bogey and yet some poor sould took 1.11 as he stood in the fairway!
By:
btw, sould is a cross between soul and sod
By:
sould off

By:
The golf was very good yesterday but I hope you all saw the piece on Seve ,that was brilliant.

Will Win
Lee Westwood Danny Lee Rory Mcilroy Hunter Mahan Martin Kaymer Won't Win Ryo Ishikawa Ross Fisher Camillo Villegas Anthony Kim Sergio Garcia |
By:
dt anybody backing the 1.12sh deserved what they got due to very poor judgement on two counts
By:
chris rogers, u sure u didnt get ur will n wonts mixed up there?
By:
LOL, I did think its a bit early to write the Japanese lad off tbh
By:
Ha which ones do you think i've got wrong in particular?
As for Ishikawa i just don't see him in the class of Lee or Mcilroy. |
By:
Id certainly swap Hunter and Kim.
By:
Fair comment. I just can't see, certainly in the near future Kim sustaining it for 4 days at a major. I know he's won one high class tournament at Quail Hollow, and probably done more than Hunter to date. I think Mahan is a gutsy player though when needs be. Kim has thrown away leads against easy fields in small tournaments too often
By:
true, still young though.
By:
serg will surely win 1 eventually, he norm goes close in at least 1 a yr, camilo has played well in the last few majors so he could win 1 if puts 4 solid rounds 2getha, ishikawa shouldnt be on the list just yet, outplayed tiger round1 of the open
By:
how do u mark your titleist?!
you really do have to kick your expensive habit, and wake up and smell the coffee. I really dont think he'll ever win one. he lacks bottle and he's pants at the most important part of the game. remember zamo 'Just sya NO' |
By:
If it was about the long game Sergio would have won about 5 and be odds on for each Open Championship. I just can't see 72 holes of sustainable putting to challenge.
By:
I would back Garcia to win at least one at 1.10.
By:
I wish there was somewhere i could lay that one

INCASEOF
Just on a value basis you would be far better backing him at SP before each major. |
By:
Yeah, It would. And I have no problem doing that, not this year tho.
He can improve the putting, several years to make a change, not likely as long he trying to be mechanic with it howe'er. But it's more about to play well tee-to-green, if he can get close to last years form again, he will win easily even with poor putting. |
By:
you can't win a major by putting bad incaseof

Poulter Villegas Kim Stenson Zach Johnson (another one) Wont Donald Mahan Casey Scott JF.Lucquin (one for baggers ;) ) |
By:
Poor putting (Ok, for Garcia but still poor) in USPGA 08 and The Open 07 and was...very close, a understatement.
Will Garcia Manassero Stenson Donald Kaymer Won't Westwood Kim Casey Watney Scott |
By:
well as long as serg goes back to a normal putter, like when winnin in spain, hsbc and players he can win, n also wnt close in pga, es belly putter worked for 3days once in 07 so he should get rid of it asap and win like cink did

Will
Mclroy Westwood Stenson Fisher quiros Wont casey(hoope not at least) Kim(nutter) Garcia(cant win a major unable to putt) cant think of more right now.il just add 1 that wont win another major.goosen. |
By:
donald wont either.he's far from being top english player not to mind winning a major.what he really done after all?other than the hype that goes wit being british.would say fisher for example is a lot better player already than donald will ever be.
