Cheers, no I won't be quitting, it's annoying but I'm not new enough to think the bad days won't happen.
I was actually surprised it got away with only a 6 point loss. I'm still confident this can make steady profit, in fact right now I believe it's as hard as it gets,these utter slogfests can make a mockery of any facts and figures you use to pick yer bets. |

Interesting thread system99 - I wouldn't want to go as high as 26.0 in the place market - partially because you would need such a big sample to confirm an edge at those prices.
I would also have concerns about laying 3 or more in the same race (especially in a field size as low as 9 runners) - related contingency is probably the wrong expression - but I would worry that as some of your runners fail to threaten the places, so the chances of your remaining runners placing will increase. Hope that makes sense. To lay that many in a race I would want a huge field with either a perceived draw advantage or extreme ground/going. Very interesting (and profitable so far) though - so keep it going! |

The Management - i do understand what your saying and does make sense, but the selections are from a specific set of rules which produces the selections.

I suppose what I raised earlier cuts both ways - i.e. if one of yours does fill a place, there is a reduced chance that the others will, as there are then less places remaining to be filled. I have always struggled to get my head around it - but mostly only place lay one per race anyway. I think laying 3 in the 17:15 is very brave. GL. |
