15 Feb 16 01:20 kenco 14 Feb 16 22:19 Winter Derby A very weak looking winter derby grendisar hasn't finished out of the first two in last 7 runs over c/d and may well even win again in a weak renewal,there don't seem to be many new horses with much potential in the race I get the impression its going to be a desperate finish with the field finishing close up.There maybe a little bit of value in Battalion he has finished behind grendisar 3 times,although got left last and was making ground at finish behind don't be the other two races ben beaten fair and square.There could be a slight angle wioth battalion coming back after a break last season ran 6th in the race after 4 month break,also in previous season after 5 month break returned to win.The break from December to the end of February should suit,he's still only had 19 lifetime runs and only 6 on the aw so could be more to come in what looks a weak renewal he could be the valu at 12/1,the 5 runs at lingfield returned sps 4/1,7/1/11/4 and 9/2.There's virtually nothing unexposed in the race bar festive fare 12/1 could easily be 6-7/1 on the day!!! For what it's worth I think Tullius could be a big danger even allowing for the 5lb penalty,he showed enough against better horses last year and also has form fresh.Just hoping Furia Cruzada isn't a spoiler but can't imagine Argentinian form being good enough though they must think they will get some black type over here at some stage.

Wasn't a strong fancy anyway,just the race doesn't look very good and its run best after a break very difficult to fancy more than 3/4 in the race so the prices were always going to shorten.

At 12's was definitely the value,I just did the race this morning so have none of that but was against Festive Fare last time and am again don't think he's suited to the track.

A few speculatiove ones tomorrow..
7.15 wolves Give us a belle was a bit of an eyecatcher last time out,drawn 11 and eventually getting to the front after two furlongs looking to go off far to quick,then entering straight ending up on standside,mustv'e travelled at least 4ls further than any other runner in the race.Has a pull in weights with frank the barber from that race of 7 pound as well,also has weight pulls with jolly red jeanz,mountain man and your gifted when 3rd two runs ago and beat them on that run. Has also come down nicely in the weights,was rated 69 in july 2015 won off 62 april 2015 now runs off just 57 lowest mark since september 2014 and with claimer lowest since December 2013,i wouldn't normally back a Christine dunnett horse and think the jock is slight negative and poor draw but it looks as though horse is worth following on last run and at some point could pop up at big price.May even trade very low in running if uncontested lead as well.. Give us a belle 16/1 365 3.35 Lingfield Arnold lane had been running consistently this season,a 3rd to realize and 2nd to certificate over c/d decent runs,does look a little high in weights now but a drop in class may suit although clement on the clock appears to have a favs chance at the weights.Thought tom eaves was very negative last time out on Arnold lane although a decent race there was no psce on and was dropped in off slow gallop,no good for Arnold lane needs to be upfront on the pace. obably worth another chance and is another that could well trade low in running,think it's likely to go off nearer to 11/4 as well tops..  3.0 Lingfield This race is another weak 3yr old handicap,the evans horse may win but looks better on fibresand the rest look pretty slow I very much doubt there is anything in this race that will achieve a much higher rating.The runner with the best form is pacches on debut that was back in may at Windsor over 5fs,in comparison to this race that maiden looks good form with winner rated 78,had previous experience the 3rd bournemouth belle rated 85 the 4th little voice rated 82 those two runners ran well in listed races on last runs of the season. You couldn't really have any confidence last two runs very disappointing,infact our of clodovil you'd probably expect to be better over further,not really bred for 5f races.If stable think horse can run to debut form in this race,then I expect will be heavily backed if not will probably double in price impossdible to make a prediction, but that debut run is the best piece of form in the race so worth a token bet.Might even be bigger in morning then bet,is currently 9/1 which would look very big on the Windsor run,would bug me if it won in such a poor race and not even having anything on.. If there's plenty of pace on then has a decent chance,think she needs pace to collapse in these 5f races that's a necessity as the last run is similar time to the front of the market leaders.Just a matter if theres a few taking each other on,give us a belle made that perfect for her last time out.

Was considering Lighcameraction has run some decent times there and still open to improvement on the aw,the group horses have little or no aw form and on this sort of track most form on straight tracks,think it would be a bit optimistic to think it could win though.Probably one of the market leaders to come out then would be worth a bet..

Seems a tricky card I will be having a bet in 3 races though nothing strong,a couple of possible value pokes and an unexposed disappointer first time on AW.

Give us a belle 16/1 365 That's the beauty of unfashionable trainers,the horse had the beating of everything in the race the negative was the jockey topped uop at 20s plus 3 and 4 places,thought he may give it a sh1t ride and finish 4th.As the write up said you read the form and weights had loads in hand wasted 4ls last run looked in cracking form was just if tonight or next run but you got huge value was going away at finish,that ends some sort of week thos month has been!! unbelievable.Grimsters just texted saud he had fortunes on it another lucky guess at 20/1.. |

Sadly not, last of seven two runs back ( seraphima came 6th ) was about 6lb worse of next time with Seraphima & 1 1/2 lengths behind so could not beat that at the weights & actually laid it for a place last time, so in my mind I just had it as being really out of form, really good spot under the circumstances finding it tonight, well done again. |

You should've watched the replay,i remember watching it in real time last time out thinking how the hell has it run so well after travelling so much further than other runners,did exactly the same thing tonight just idled jock not strong enough if Kirby had been riding that would've been an easy win..

Wasn't ridden aggressively enough did exactly the same on the run in write up looked beat turning for home wandered over the track and still stayed on a sign of a horse in great form,just did the same thing but in a straightline as I was hoping..
