As June draws to a close I started betting again at the weekend discipline ?????? but I have managed to get my profit up to 330 backed jack hobbs and layed legattisimo (lucky) and placed a few other wagers along the way, anyway the upshot is every wager I placed clicked,so this is my current position.I have now finished for the month.
Profit 330 Withdrawn 250 Current Bank 1080 I am not naieve enough to think that I am great, lucky so far maybe, but I am not sure what way to progress, the bank is 1080 and a profit has been taken, but it could have easily been different. I would welcome any more suggestions as to progress from here with the bank I have available. |

If you gave £50,000 to a good investor and said see what you can do for me and I will be back in a year from now , what would you have expected your bank to have grown to ??????
20-30% would be very good but to many people it would be a waste of time . Always amazes me how people who have never had a good amount of money want to get mega rich in a year from gambling or investing even with a tiny betting bank like a grand . If you want to take it serious , plan for at least 5 years from now . |

Are you saying 30% in first year which would increase the bank by 300 to 1300,and similar growth over the following five years.
It would be slow very slow actually.I guess most of us on here look for a quick easy route to success, which obviously won't work long term, and leads to the no 1 cardinal sin of chasing. If I follow along the lines you suggest Zealot then I am looking at approximately 25 smackers for July off my bank of 1080. |

an interesting analogy if you judge a goldfish on its ability to climb a tree,it is going to spend the rest of its life thinking it is stupid. Funny you should say that. The killer goldfish that can choke predators, walks on land and climbs TREES http://bitly.com/1FnvC3X |

Sorry about the last post, I couldn't resist it.
If you can stand the roller coaster, you might like the Kelly Criterion. If your selection method makes even a minimal profit, it gives you enough leverage to get to where you want to go. I recommend this book: Fortune's Formula: The Untold Story of the Scientific Betting System That Beat the Casinos and Wall Street by William Poundstone It does take nerve but, like I said, if you can make even a little profit already, this will do the job. |
