It's purple with a Lads 'fascia' on it.

Yes, it's just B£td@q. They bought it a while back and unfortunately have done next to nothing with it.
|
By:
I hear they use it to hang there coat on in the corner of their bedroom
|
By:
Yes have we ever had ANY word from them why they are not using their own name and really having a go ?
|
By:
Surely they could take more players from here than fixed odds cash players in their shops.

bet daq is useless. put commmission up to 5% from3% and it's more dead than ever. the only decent exchange is matchbook.
|
By:
Had a phone call from **** a couple of weeks ago telling me I had a free bet. I mentioned that I don't use DAQ that often because they don't cover markets that I use.
Had another phone call asking why I hadn't used my free bet. It's doomed. |
By:
So why didn't you use your free bet then?

They've been contacting people (including myself) over last couple of months offering 2% commission until end Jan. I tried using it a bit more but there's just not much activity. As others have said, they don't listen to customers either. I've asked for some additional markets saying I'd seed them earlier and better odds than Betfair but just got a stock answer and no action.

Three months ago, I was talking to a manager in a shop. They had no idea that ladbrokes were partners of an exchange.

You still don't get it. Bookies are buying Exchanges when they are a threat then put them on the back-burner.

Currently if you put up your own prices on quack and they get matched rather than taking prices already on offer then you only pay 2% commission on those trades, liquidity still not great though
|
By:
Probably only reduce liquidity with customers all waiting for somebody to match them and get the lower commission rate, and no money get matched at all.
|
By:
Explains that then DOUBLED

True in the case of PPower/Betfair, but the Daq was no threat. The Daq's owner had, by his own admission, burnt through insane amounts of money on the exchange, and by chance he also happened to be a major shareholder in Lads. |
