Had a phone call from **** a couple of weeks ago telling me I had a free bet. I mentioned that I don't use DAQ that often because they don't cover markets that I use.
Had another phone call asking why I hadn't used my free bet. It's doomed.

They've been contacting people (including myself) over last couple of months offering 2% commission until end Jan. I tried using it a bit more but there's just not much activity. As others have said, they don't listen to customers either. I've asked for some additional markets saying I'd seed them earlier and better odds than Betfair but just got a stock answer and no action.

Currently if you put up your own prices on quack and they get matched rather than taking prices already on offer then you only pay 2% commission on those trades, liquidity still not great though

Probably only reduce liquidity with customers all waiting for somebody to match them and get the lower commission rate, and no money get matched at all.

You still don't get it. Bookies are buying Exchanges when they are a threat then put them on the back-burner.
True in the case of PPower/Betfair, but the Daq was no threat.
The Daq's owner had, by his own admission, burnt through insane amounts of money on the exchange, and by chance he also happened to be a major shareholder in Lads.
