Do you still not see the fundamental error with staking some bets at £1 and others at £800? How many more failed attempts will it take?

schalke, I'm sure you would have been in profit it you just did level stakes and didn't get involved in very risky match bets on the horses.

The other problem is you do have a tendency to go on tilt from time to time.

See you there ... I shall learn from this one and eliminate horse racing from my selections

only reason it only lost £100 is because you did not put the full 1240 on the  7th losing selection

Bet 1 - £1.55 / Bet 2 - £4.65 / Bet 3 - £13.95 / Bet 4 - £43.50 / Bet 5 - £137 / Bet 6 - £412 / Bet 7 - £1240

he need to sdjust his staking method, any easy way would be to go back to square one after 4 losing bets and slowly recover losses

No.  Quite simply put, you are dealing with 3 things.

Taking random bets based on short odds only, meaning no edge, and always betting more on losers than you are on winners.  Thirdly, you are paying fees (commission etc) on your winning bets.

So not only at level stakes would you be behind due to fees, you are guaranteeing losing money because added to that, you are always losing more on losing bets, than you are on winning bets.

2900 posts, 8 months, and he wiped out all profits plus an extra 25% in a couple of hours.

Without an edge, or a market reading ability, this simply does not work, hence why he is starting again, thinking this time simply adding an 8th bet instead of 7, will be the answer.  The guy has been doing this for around a decade, and keeps wiping out his bank.  Does that not tell you something?

"only lost 100...." etc.

No. It lost all the gains, as well.

Not to mention the time.

It seems when punters win money, they never consider it their own and look at it as someone elses so when they give it back/lose it, it does not appear as a "loss" in the ledger of the mind.

Time is a very important commidity to me.  When I lose I am often more annoyed about the amount of time I've wasted rather than the money I've lost.  Then I calculate how long it will take me to regain my losses and get more pissed off
