I was a bit dubious about backing hull, but i'm BAWDEEP now i know you fancy the clarets.
Report smithy91 March 11, 2013 4:08 PM GMT
Why do you think that ken hull are third aren't they?
Report cloughandtaylor March 11, 2013 5:37 PM GMT
Match odds are a no-go with this game, both are poor against teams in top half.
Surprised at hull given the high league placing.
Hull are 3-1-6 away against top half sides, and 5-2-1 away against lower half teams.
No way favs, despite Burnley being average.

Hull are indeed third. Do you think I am wrong?
Report Francis Benali March 11, 2013 7:01 PM GMT
Hull are the best team I've seen at Vicarage Road this season, they comfortably beat Watford. I would definitely have them favourites.
Report smithy91 March 11, 2013 7:02 PM GMT
yes i thought the odds were fair when i saw them. i work with a lot of burnley fans and follow their results etc. with the league standings i expected hull to be around 2.7. they have been backed in slightly to!
Report kenilworth March 11, 2013 7:03 PM GMT
Are you backing them?
Report smithy91 March 11, 2013 7:08 PM GMT
i've backed them at 2.74 but only got about £180 matched unfortunately i've traded that out at 2.66. i'm going to watch the opening stages before betting becuase i can't rule burnley out either. on their day they are not to bad!
Report smithy91 March 11, 2013 7:17 PM GMT
burnley 2.96 into 2.84 seems you were right ken!
Report kenilworth March 11, 2013 7:31 PM GMT
Right about what? I didn't say they would shorten.
Report subversion March 11, 2013 7:35 PM GMT
isnt hulls top scorer injured? Aluko or whatever his name is
Report smithy91 March 11, 2013 8:35 PM GMT
well the prices are supposed to be most accurate at kickoff aren't they and burnley shortened quite a bit to come closer to your oddsConfused
Report nortons March 11, 2013 8:51 PM GMT
Smithy.. i dont know why you bother he could cause an argument in an empty room.
Report Burton-Brewers March 11, 2013 9:14 PM GMT
well Hull have scored, first time they have managed that in their last 4 visits to Burnley. I know it is aftertiming and all that but I would have expected the win odds for both to be pretty close.

Report sweetchildofmine March 11, 2013 9:47 PM GMT
smithy how did the 1-1 trade go?
Report smithy91 March 11, 2013 9:53 PM GMT
it went well thanks sweet i got £800 matched at 7.6 and layed off at 7.4 it was well backed at kickoff. made £170 on the game itself from laying burnley before half time when they were favourites which i disagreed with hull were shading itHappy
Report sweetchildofmine March 11, 2013 9:56 PM GMT
the 1-1 had all the criteria attached, it reduces a lot more often than not and if it doesnt, 99 times out of 100 you can scratch for no loss...again only if all the conditions are matched
Report smithy91 March 11, 2013 10:15 PM GMT
Yeah and unders came in a lot which helped also. I should of really backed it earlier this morning to get more matched. Will look at trading this more in future :)
Report kenilworth March 11, 2013 11:06 PM GMT

have been, although you might not understand that.

An hour after the event declaring a no bet. Thread title obviously implied you were having a bet. Don't know why I'm getting involved but I found it funny the aftertiming policeman guilty of aftertiming.
Report kenilworth March 11, 2013 11:55 PM GMT
I gave my opinion on the betting, not the result. You are
correct about wondering why you are getting involved as you
appear to have difficulty understanding the English language.

Smithy, As you didn't claim any particular bet, but won a sum
of money, then I suppose you must be seen as after timing.
The only thing you have done wrong is posting on the wrong thread.
Report green army March 12, 2013 8:24 AM GMT
another fantastic call by kenny, and to be fair to those who think he may have had a bet he's got a history of forgetting to put his bets on,but he's on a roll at the moment, sheff utd banker v hartlepool 1.33ish (Doh) and now this  - he's nothing if not consistent !
Report kenilworth March 12, 2013 8:55 AM GMT

Green Army, you only pop up when I 'tip' a loser.
Last Thursday I tipped Newcastle to get a 0-0, how
come you never noticed that?
Report sweetchildofmine March 12, 2013 6:05 PM GMT

Sorry Smithy been at Cheltenham all day..wished i had stayed at home!
Report green army March 12, 2013 9:44 PM GMT
kenny you little aftertimer, come on over and join the party, and anyway no-one can "tip" a 0-0, you can say the odds for that score are value ,but "tipping" 0-0 is like tipping a dice to roll consecutive sixes, a ridculous claim
Report smithy91 March 12, 2013 9:46 PM GMT

Report kenilworth March 12, 2013 11:33 PM GMT
Anyone can 'tip' anything, including 0-0's, and they can
also highlight 'wrong' prices, I do the latter. If you want
to highlight my Burnley price as a 'tip' when I clearly
mentioned only the price as being 'big' then my 0-0 suggest
is valid, you can't have it both ways.
BTW I also backed Everton v Wigan to finish 0-3 going into
the scond half on Saturday, but I don't suppose you saw that
either. You really are an ignoramus.
Report jed.davison March 13, 2013 12:23 AM GMT
The difference being supernap, that he doesn't claim to be some kind of punting guru.
Report kenilworth March 13, 2013 8:37 AM GMT
He's not a punter at all. He just scavenges pennies off prices,
laying at 8.2, backing at 8.4, greening up for a couple of pounds
here and there...thinks it's clever.lol.
Report sweetchildofmine March 13, 2013 11:07 AM GMT
