I have just recently started getting huge interference on the analogue radio in my office. By switching all the electrical bits and pieces in the office one by one, I have narrowed the problem down to one of my PC monitors – as soon as I switch it off the interference stops.

I have a multiple monitor setup including another one that is exactly the same so I switched the wires over and the same monitor causes the interference (therefore eliminating the wiring).

Before I shell out for a new monitor, does anyone have any suggestions as to the cause? And any way to remedy it?

ConfusedThanks

Switch off your radio and do some work.

There's a good chance The monitor power lead has lost it's "ferrite choke"

Search google images if you don't know what a ferrite choke looks like.

Try another power lead from a monitor which doesn't cause the problem.

Is it a CRT or LCD monitor? Try changing the refresh rate (60/70/80 etc), which in turn might move an offensive frequency off your radio bandwidth.
