No not urgent. Think I've more or less got my head round the maths now anyway. My head hurts !!

Yeah, I don't remember if there's an easy way to do this, but I did it longhand (and the odds on the site are correct) and it's a bit messy!
If you approach it logically (4th card from 3rd, 5th card from 4th etc...) that's one way to do it, but you end up with huge chains of if...then lying around! |

Thanks Lori. I was hoping it would be fairly simple but it seems like a bit of a nightmare ! I can simulate the entire game using python it's just the odds Im struggling with. Back to school for me I guess !

How do you do this when xgames use an unfinite deck?

If there are an infinite number of decks available then the odds for each rank will be as to a full deck.
So if Ace high only,say,and an Ace is first card turned the probability of lower will be 48/52 not 48/51. |
