I'm sure this had been chatted about before but users spoke of it within their settlements when they did the math.

Twice this week, while trading in-running, I had a 'mystery' pence appear.

Simply, (odds as example):
I laid a horse in-running at '8.0', putting up £5.  All is matched

I then go to trade the full five, and put it up at 12.00.

I then get appearing in MY BETS, two bets matched:
£2.00 @ 12.00
£3.01 @ 12.00

this is using the betfair platform (no api).

Happened twice since Wednesday.

My assumption is cross-matching is causing this.

Obviously if the horse wins, it "benefits" me.  If it doesn't, one pence out on the back.

lets hope your backing or trading strategy can handle a 1 in a thousand chance of a 0.2 % change in stake size!

There was a bank clerk who embezzled a fortune taking pennies out of bank accounts.
He was caught in the end though.
Crime never pays ( unless your the CEO of a bank that is ).

Apparently it's to do with using different currencies. Who gives a fcuk about a penny here and there when they charge so much commission? Confused

Yom
You'll never get rich if you're not counting your pennies.

I agree with Yom, I have pennies nicked all the time, not by BF but by the penny 'no win no fee' operatives. The principle used to be important, don't let them get away with it, but now they've worn me down and I really don't give a flying **** any more! At the end of the year I'll probably be £3.65 - £7.30 - £14.60 worse off, but at least I don't have to monitor the situation any more and send regular emails to BF only for it to continue anyway.
