Given that I have already mentioned about trying to reduce the amount of time I spend on here and the fact that most of the greyhound/horse lays are system selections ....
Why do you want me to post up my bets pre off ? You don't post up all your bets pre-off or even post up your full p&l statement on the football profit/loss thread ..... |

Hey LB - early days with the greyhound laying as you and I know what looks good can quickly turn against you ... my problem is whether to win lay or place lay as a high % aren't placed ...

Well yes, those laying systems can be annoyingly deceptive. Of late I've been doing quite a bit of research into the place markets in horse-racing, and I think there are plenty of mispricing problems there that don't occur to the same extent in the win markets. I suspect there's good money to be made by looking at place lays up to the 2.2 level.

Bit up and down ... played a bit too much away from the system selections and went down on the last greyhound lay (10.13pm) which stopped the bank moving forward. Noticed the lay odds were a lot higher than they should have been so may look to not lay any greyhound races after say 9pm because of poor liguidity either/or tighten up the odds range for those late races ... still a learning curve.

I am laying to specific % of the bank and doing "mainly" system selections. Saying that when I started the other challenge was initially laying to win £6 per horse race where this one I am trying to win 0.5% of the current bank ...

He's made it absolutely clear that the selection criteria are different in the new systems. He's obviously not going to tell you what those selection criteria are though, since that would be giving away part of his system.

To answer the above ... in my previous challenge I did a lot of betting pre-off and ir as well as greening up across lots of markets. I didn't use any system as such to select say my horse lays etc - however I did use certain factors to drill down into what races and horse I was interested in ...
This time around (to reduce hours on here) I am playing with horse and greyhound system that I have 'discovered'. Actually the horse system is 4 mini-systems and the greyhound is 1 system (and one other one which is of interest). Currently fine tuning the greyhound one. the biggest issues are over odd ranges to lay, staking, market volume problems at certain times, win or place laying ... plus a few other things. One big thing is whether to automatically set up the bot to stop after winning a certain % of the bank or simply let it go on throughout the day .... ie: do you take the money or risk it to make more ... not sure just about that one. Arguments for both sides. No Paulme I won't be telling you what the "systems" are - however I did put up on the Anyone Fancy a Lay thread a nice lay selection and even a nice juicy 8/1 or so winner |

You still see the carnage he causes though, Hejik. If everybody blocked Paul, there'd be no problems. But as long as he's asking his many stupid questions and interrogating everybody, the threads still descend into chaos. So blocking him doesn't really help.
