Great video by Justin but there is one little inexactness. PSP swindlers paid not 600.000 USD but only slightly more than 400.000 USD. Justin got those figures from them but they were lying as always.
Yes, I an the unfortunate player who has this problem with slow-pay. In fact its not a slow-pay, it is a no-pay. In the last month I got only 3.000 USD. |

I'm very sorry to hear of your trouble. What's the name of the PSP and I take it you have tried to reverse the payment(what's left of it) back to Betfair without success ?
Were you also not aware of their max 20 k a week policy ? |
|
By:
There is no max 20 k a weeek policy, they are lying. They simply stole the money, thats all.
My problem is discussed here http://forum.sbrforum.com/sportsbooks-industry/1180128-betfair-3-1-million-slow-pay-other-pro-player-issues-video.html |

Anty1975 that link to sbr forum is an interesting read about how you won the money and your dealings with betfair and the psp. hope it gets resolved soon.

Have Betfair paid the PSP the full amount owed?
|
|
By:
JF, it looks like Betfair has done that.

Does anyone honestly think that betfair would not pay a winner out unless there was prohibitive circumstances?
The fact he has been paid so far an amount that is inline with the psp must indicate to an observer that this is the restriction in settling the sum in 20k payments. As for the other guy, too little detail to make any claim, Betfair have paid out billions since there launch, can you find any genuine cases of customers not being paid in a country with free access to media for reports and complaints? case closed ![]() ![]() |

I personally like many thousands of people using bookmakers have been swindled out of winnings from valid bets that have won, currently bookmakers run a neat system with there automated tilling service
amend a bet pre-race start and they tell you its on the system, if the bet wins, the rules on the wall mention nothing about amendments to automated data systems and you dont get paid. If you want a service that avoids payment to winning customers, monitors winners and bans them, treats customers with contempt, please use any high street bookmaker. Barney curley a very well known pro punter is still owed a massive amount by the bookmakers and his bet was legal, does that not tell you anything about the difference between a "fair" exchange and a dodgy high street bookmaker? |

i have now blocked my first ever forumite; i'm actually attempted to report him as well: his trolling is become absurd.
i would recommend you read the thread on sbr. it's interesting reading. anty seems to have been a sub account for a master account in someone else's name who handled deposits and withdrawls. it appears that it's the master account who are responsible for getting payment to him and this is where the delay exists. betfair appear to have recommended and endorsed the arrangement. |

bf_fanatic is doing a good job. his postings keep the threads worth reading near to the top of the list, it saves scrolling. The only downside is if he is the only poster since you last read the thread.

By:
yeah, never heard of master and sub accounts to facilitate payments. Not sure why betfair would recommend a third party to handle such things.
The recommending is the problematic part. |
|

I'd agree brendan, seems he was happily plodding along on normal account until Befair recommended he went on to a sub account with the PSP. No one could assume betfair would be at fault if it was simply a case of the PSP delaying payment. But as they've introduced and recommended him to the PSP you'd assume they'd at least try and sort out the mess but seem to have washed their hands of it as soon as it's gone bad.
Obviously you never get the full story with these things and people come up with all theories depending which side of the fence they sit but certainly doesn't look good. |

There are lots of master and sub accounts...Im not sure if they pay PC to

Yes, they work in mysterious ways. I know of a race where I was paid out and market was settled. Some hours later, they removed this amount and the stake, putting the account into negative balance. Why? Stewards enquiry *hours* after market was settled and event closed. That was ridiculous. |

Has anybody else been following this story on the sbr forum?? The thread there is very interesting to say the least... Why are betfair remaining silent on this issue???

On the 3.1 Million. If this guy was legit, he would have known how to transfer that amount of money between countries. That said, if he had 3.1 million, he would have had an account manager and either the account manager and/or someone in accounting should have had the courtesy (see customer service 1-oh-1) and advised him.
On the 30K. If anyone withheld money owed to me and sent me a letter citing the reasons and I knew this was wrong, I would simply go for drinks with my solicitor and hand it to him. |
|
By:
shapeshifter my understanding was that the 3.1M person was advised by betfair's regional manager to use the PSP concerned.
|
|
By:
Not siding with betfair but if I was being sent 3.1 million pounds and was advised on who to use, my first move would have been:
a) dial a phone my second to say: b) "Hello, you are going to send me 3.1 million from betfair. When can I expect to receive it?" my third (if they say within a period I agree with) c) "can you send me an e-mail confirming what you have said?" A laughable situation (both the customer and betfair). |

This is indeed shocking. As I said on SBR forum I never expected them to pay instead of PSP but at least I expected an investigation. But they did nothing. The same betfair officials that advised me on PSP, made promises to me together with PSP are still working as nothing has happened. And as far as I know this Kacharava swindler is still betfair PSP and poker live organizer. Unbelievable! |
