If waterloo dock and dreamacha are used as the formlines then goddess of light should beat bold ring,dualagi and athakeels loads of formlines through the forementioned horses make it look well in. The danger if anywhere nears lkast seasons form would have to be weet a surprise on its lowest mark since november 2009 when it won off 68 today on 69 and would outclass these but james unett very poor strike rate and only 3 winners from last 100 runners.The obvious thing to do is back the fav with a saver on weet a surprise as its price is to big in this grade. A very competitive handicap and will be a small bet on advertisement because of the long lay off,not been out since last august so a few ? to answer.The thing that stands out is the time only 0.09 slower than arabian mirage winning the later handicap on the same card off 90,avertisement won by 13ls eased and only runs off 75 today.Will be following this in future if no show today as it may not be ready but would be well overpriced on next run if not about today. Vhujon would be the pick at these weights already had elhamri behind at kempton and miles in at the weights but grayson hasn't had a winner for a very long time,elhamri ran really well in handicap even though last of 8 hampered staying on strongly and only beaten 3ls.The danger looks to be cape melody potentially still improving so will split the bet and back the pair. Kingscroft looked a bit paceless on previous runs and very mediocre but its last run at wolves ran faster than orpenindeed and dualagi on the same card by .70 and .30 if that form is reproduced the 4/5 looks great value against these slow boats.The slight ? might be the surface,as that run was at wolves where the track has been running slower,on watching its previous run at lingfield didn't look that comfortable so just hoping it translates that to lingfield as mentioned that 4/5 is generous.The others in the race have not produced anywhere near that sort of time,if he does flop today it will be purely down to the surface and will be waiting for a very hefty bet there.It was going to be 4pt max bet,but as its lingfield will make the stake 2pts. Two very small bets today.
Swell 2.0 Camps bay won here on very slow surface but really is looking regressive the two higher rated horses la estrella and profits reality will take some beating if fit but havn't run for a while.So a small bet on camps bay hoping turner doesn't use her one dimensional tactics of sitting midfield as she should test the other two out and send it on 3fs out. CAMPS BAY .64 PT WIN 13/8 Swell 3.0 The other is ingleby arch looking through its form over recent runs apart from the run against cape vale done very little it maybe that the horse now needs the 7fs but with punching and cape vale leading just hoping these two take each other on and let his stamina come into play.If its a falsely run race this horse won't pick up so again a very small bet. Two at the prices stand out for me and i could see hugh taylor picking either the first is prince james 7/1 won here over c/d in december when the surface was riding similars to todays beat sarahs art that went to win off 75 and the third feeling foxy 2 1/4ls behind has since run second to the massive improver anne of kiev.Feeling foxy then won off 80 and has since run second off 84,prince james is onjly 3 pound higher with the claim when he won here runs to that form must run well. There is another in the race that was unlucky on its last run ballodair badly hampered early on then hampered later on in the race had to be switched and yet was still finishing,looks very well in with takajan now on that running yet is a point bigger at 6/1.With a clear run it may have won that day,even prior to that run had run third to clear praise thats recently won off 75,the second picansort another improver has won off 68 and the 4th from that race best trip has also won off 66 beating sherjawy which in turn has also won. .30pt EW PRINCE OF JAMES 7/1 .30PT EW BALLODAIR 6/1 |

Most of these races are won by the jockeys as most are so poor,i'm hoping the pace set in the race i won't have to rely on my two as they are very mediocre.The best jock is on williams well but the two i've picked out are squad and sir boss both ran in similar amateur riders race when finishing 2nd.3rd in november.For the type of race the pace was reasonable and infact 2 seconds quicker than williams wells on the same days division at todays weights so worth two small ews the pair. Striker torres at 7/2 ew should be a bet to nothing as long as it doesn't get taken on and is still on a lower mark than that of its 2 yr old rating.Ran second to hulcote rose penultimate run infront of mr mcattack,mr mcattack then running a very good 5th to brave echo thats won again since and the second hazzard countys won.In just behind was bawaardi from hulcote roses race thats finished second off 77 to advertisement at kempton only last week,the one negative could be the kirby oldroyd combo very dubious combination but will have a small ew bet and be watching this race carefully as if unplaced i will be definitely a backer next time out. Probably not a good race to be betting odds on but watching shamardal phantoms last run although the race was run at a slow pace the last 100 hundred yards it just suddenly picked up and flew,very odd to watch on replays.The horse may be a dodgepot but if it shows that turhn of foot today will beat these i'm willing to risk a small bet to find out at 4/6. This is one i've been keeping an eye on as its mark is dropping dramatically,i actually thought the horse was finished till its run behind brave echo when a running on 7th to brave echo form thats already been franked by the winner and hazzard county already.The interesting thing is will it be trying today as its mark from that run has gone down to 75 from 80 and looks like it could be set up for a nice handicap yet runs in this claimer today,thing that catches the eye is the price and 8s is massive on that run especially when most of the runners in this bar syrian have been running well below form.I'm going to take the 8s and see if there's a gamble as i couldn't back any of the others it probably won't be trying today but i can see a lot of punters following that formline and could see this going off around the 11/2 mark or shorter.Definitely one i will be following over the next few weeks whatever happens.Lack of pace in the race is the massive negative for me as syrian will sit back as well so they could finish in a heap.It's 8s with most books and will be trying to trade off pre race.
