Whilst since starting thread I am losing 339.17 on HORSES ( first day a loss of 463.43 incurred), I am after checking 30 day P & L and position is -
Horse Racing: £3,092.44 | Soccer: -£4,357.43 | Tennis: £33.88 | Tote: | Total P&L: -£1,231.11 So horse racing bets have generally been going well , prior to thread being started, but the big dent in bank had been FOOTBALL LOSSES ...AGAIN.....due to European Championship matches. ( Now not betting on INTERNATIONAL or CL games/ European tie etc , only CLUB matches within same country being bet on) Probably the reason for me not doing well on this thread , is that I have been betting on race types that previously I had NOT BEEN BETTING ON! So will get back to basics today ...and hopefully regular profit will be made, with occasional blips ! GL with bets today. |

I should NOT bet in MAIDEN STAKES race types.....but I will just NOT LAY a horse in this type of race.
I will also TRY to avoid BACKING in them too.....but I already placed bets on 2.00 race before making this decision[:x]...........................so will let bets stand. |

DFC - great results on the nags. You really should just stop those football bets, no matter how much you love the game, becasue your approach is all wrong and they are a big drain. Or at least stop them while you rethink your approach.

I made roughly 16/17,000 pounds with mainly LAYING CSs on TOTGA thread. However, this was mainly on CLUB matches within same country leagues.
I lost all of that with bets on WORLD CUP and EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP matches, where it is far harder to compare teams and what is likely to happen. So having lost on EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP matches recently....I made the decision to STOP BETTING on them, other than small / tiny bets to have a small initerest on. I am continuing CLUB game bets.....as I feel i have a good chance to make regular profits, PROVIDED I KEEP STAKING UNDER CONTROL. Started this yesterday and made about 100 pounds on such bets.....though lost 21 on MULTIPLE BETS on CL games. So a PROFIT made day 1. If I can at least break-even on the SMALLER STAKING bets on CLUB football etc, then that will do me. I hope to make a good profit though.....so will continue on my FOOTBALL thread trying to do so . Just seen your lays zip for today ....just passing the time on those races ..and brief thoughts are -
2.20 Your lay is - New Springs - Generally i don't like horses 3rd first time out...and this one falls into that category. A POSITIVE for me. However, the field against it don't appear that strong...so it can win ...therefore not a lay for me.....though odds are too short, so i can see that reason for taking it on. Dangers are Granny Anne as outsider Gl with lay ...I suspect it might win. |
