What can a long term profit be made on then Odwyer?
By:
odwyer1980
When: 05 Mar 08 15:35
Without gambling, that is.

If you gamble and you win at the horses, well done. You've had good luck.

There is no system for horse-racing. No system works. Guess work. Gambling. Avoidment.

A plan.

See post 1.

3 factors that are highlighted. Can't miss them.

No problem. I will not see you in 3 months. Case closed.

I won't see you because you will have no profit to show from HR in 3 months.

That's HR for you.

Either Odwyer is a master fisherman, or incredibly low intelligence

One of those outcomes can be backed at 1.08 ;)

I can only assume from hereon in that this is simply a fishing expedition.

No-one can be so blinkered into thinking they are right and everyone else is wrong, can they?

I'll be back here in 3/4 months and only then will you know the answer. Evidence will be provided.

You're the one betting on horses. How do you know the horses state of mind on the morning of the race? Who are you, the forum Dr Dolittle?

Odwyer, quit while you're ahead, you are showing your ignorance of why bookmakers win and punters lose regardless of knowing nothing about a horse's mind.
Nice try at deflection, but you've been punting on here for a few months and clearly show a distinct lack of savvy and punting maturity.
Take your $2,000 and do something constructive.
You cannot live of a bank of $2,000 talking about 1.01 shots and Dr Dolittle.

why do u bother starting threads when almost without exception u answer peoples questions and responses with a differing view? u still havent given me an example of a conservative bet yet have u? amazing that u have been on here for such a short time and yet apparently know it all. ive been gambling/involved in bookmaking longer than u have been on this earth, yet im sure u have much more knowledge than me!!

Without trying to sound clever, I feel like Gordon Ramsey here teaching a load of failed gamblers how to profit.

I really should change.

People have been punting longer than you've been alive, been on betfair ten times longer than you and understand odds and percentages.

You're not Gordon Ramsey, you're the retaurant that went under because they didn't listen to him.

How about you stick you unwanted advice and series of "hahahahahah's" that only a school boy would, use strictly where the sun doesn't shine? ;-D

I will not take any advice from someone who claims to make money from the horses. Can't be done. I dont care what anyone says. I also know proof will never come my way - hence I wont even bother asking.

Long term racing system do not exist, nor work. The proof is the fact that there is no proof.

I am confident in what I talk about. It will require what I have stated in my initial post. I know you and others won't read it all because you are so up your own backsides, so just look at the 3 highlighted words. If I can pass them, then my knowledge on most sports should work for itself.

Hahahahaha

Yeah, I know it's schoolboy stuff, but I just can't help it when a comedy show comes to town.

You want proof - try looking at bookmakers and the tote for a start.

Proof positive ;)

You need to understand WHY they profit before saying it doesn't work.

yr knowledge on most sports? u didnt even know the rules on a tie in cricket the other day. u said something along the lines of i wont believe that i havent lost my money until i see betfair have settled this!! mark webster apparently in the bdo darts was a pub player, of course he ended up winning. i could go on, but why bother, u only start threads to disagree with every view that is put to u. hows that example of a conservative bet looking?

Cricket is probably my weakest sport, granted. Other then that, you're posting fables, lies and exaggerations, callataxi. It seems a strength you have is buillsh!tting and misguiding people.

Other then Cricket, I'm knowledgeable on most sports, thank you very much.

he posts on most forums, and almost every post by him sounds like someone who is a complete novice at gambling and has barely any knowledge of said sport. if hes fishing, then he must be doing it constantly then. i think u will find hes just some deluded young pup who likes a punt and has just turned to gambling on here from being a regular in a betting shop.

thankfully u have no idea on what i bet on and certainly have no knowledge on how i make a profit. of course i have posted a few times what sports i do trade, but u never take any notice of anyone elses viewpoint. i just see u cut and pasting people responses and offering a differing view, havent seen any signs of someone who is either likeable or knowledgeable or even modest!!

Calltaxi, you will go through 10 times more stress the I will using your system. And even if you claim to make 1,000's of pounds via some system, keep it. I'd never use a system from a car-salesman type punter.

I think for small stakes you probably could make a long-term profit nicking pennies on markets that are almost over. The fundamental problem is these bets are rarely available for decent amounts, so for the time invested you would be better off working in McDonald's.

Owdyer is a case in point - he claimed to have gone full-time in November, yet he has only made a couple of grand so far. How can anyone live on that sort of money unless they live with their parents and never go out? It's not much of a lifestyle - defeats the object of being a full-time punter in the first place.

My advice is to go get a job while you improve your punting.
